My partner found a hidden gem in Williamsburg. We tried the seasonal omakase set. The fish was fresh, each piece was delicious. Also, enjoyed that when each piece came out, the hostess would show us a photo of the fish we’re eating. Chef Leo is really knowledgeable with the food, so don’t be afraid to ask for information. Will definitely come back!

We both got the seasonal omakase and thoroughly enjoyed it! Chef picked some of the less common fish used for omakase and let the fish do the talking.
I appreciated them showing us photos of the whole fish as we’re being presented with each piece of nigiri.
We especially enjoyed the ootoro and pickled radish hand roll.

From the moment we stepped in, our experience at Mido Omakase room was one to remember. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing and allowed you to chat with your party.
But hands down the best part was the amazing food that Chef Sato puts in front of you. The flavors complex and full but not too heavy or overwhelming. Each element he puts into the sushi is so well thought out. No soy sauce needed, he even puts in the exact right amount of wasabi to punch out the flavors in the fish.
We sat at the sushi counter and it was so fun watching him and the other chefs work.

This place is amazing. I came here for my partner’s and my anniversary, and our expectations were blown out of the water! The fish quality is delectable and each fish was so delicious. I got to try so many new kinds of fish that were all amazing. So fresh! I also loved the chefs and hostess. They made us feel at home and very welcome. Overall, this place deserves more popularity! Everyone is missing out on this omakase experience!
