Nice has been a favorite ever since the Chinese spot across the street from my place closed. It may not be the prettiest spot, but it’s definitely one of the tastiest for the price. The menu has a solid variety of classic Chinese takeout at decent prices. My go-tos are the General Tso’s fish and the scallops—always flavorful and satisfying. As a busy neighborhood takeout, they do what matters most: the food is well packed, hot, and seasoned just right—balanced spice, sweetness, and savory flavor. I usually call in and get delivery, but today I stopped in to order. The place was packed with about a dozen people ahead of me, yet my food was ready in 20 minutes. Once home, everything was fresh, tasty, and generously portioned. I’ll definitely keep enjoying—and supporting—this neighborhood gem.

The lady who picks up the phone overcharges you, changes the prices when you arrive and then tries to be slick and charge for my free drink. Then I asked her is this pork fried rice and she rushed me and said yes. When I get home there is no pork in my rice. I called her back and told her and she starts asking and yelling at the cook in a different language , then comes back to the phone and tells me he’s sorry he forgot to add the pork. She told me to come get the pork. I told her my food is cold now and will be colder once I walked 4 blocks roundtrip. She refuses to remake my food.
Just a heads up, there is better tasting Chinese food and better establishments that will appreciate and their customers and do the right thing to ameliorate the problem!!!
