Hometown hospitality in a cozy, big city bar!

Even though the initial part of the review may sound cliche. I would give this establishment zero stars if I could.

We stopped on by to grab a Guinness after celebrating our friend’s birthday. The initial interaction seemed pretty nice. The pub was pretty empty with only two patrons in there. Giving us plenty of space to sit anywhere we would like. We got our drinks, our group enjoyed the atmosphere. It definitely was something we wanted to experience more of hoping to visit again in the future. Only for us to agree on not visiting anymore because of the second half of the interaction we had.

One of our friends wanted to purchase two more Guinness’s since we enjoyed our first round. Only for the bartender with glasses and reddish hair to tell us they’re done for the night. This was around 12am almost 1am. After double checking the hours of operation to see that closing is at 4am. The bartender started turning off the TVs. Eventually turning off the jukebox midway through the song we had put. Thinking that was the cue to head out. After waiting for our ride to arrive. We saw the bartender had let other patrons in eventually turning the jukebox back on.

That second part of our visit soured our experience. Leading us to no longer wanting to visit. Feeling like we weren’t wanted in the establishment. Keep in mind my first visit was wonderful. Which is why I originally recommend this pub for a Guinness.

How have I not rated Paddy’s yet! A neighborhood staple. It’s absolutely the best! We love Paddy’s. Definitely go here, best Guinness you’ll get in the city, warm vibes, and so many TVs for sports.

First time visitor from UK to this bar to catch the all Ireland hurling final. Had my Ukrainian uncle with me who'd never been to an Irish bar before and had no idea what hurling was. He's now a huge convert to both after the fantastic atmosphere, welcome and Guinness. Diolch yn fawr.

It is a very convivial Irish pub atmosphere. Full bar; bring in food, if you like. Sports on screen and regular Irish music jams, funded by contributions - no cover. Check for schedule, but I believe it's the second Wednesday every month, starting at 8PM.

A Great local Irish pub, great for sports and darts. Every week they have something else going on like live music, and trivia nights. Worth a day to hang out and chill. Owners are great people.

Don’t be fooled by the top photo. This cozy Irish bar does not serve food. You can bring your own in though.

Stumbled upon Paddy’s by total chance yesterday and loved every minute of it. There’s something really special about this place! Will 100% be coming back on our next visit. 😃

A good Irish pub that features Arsenal FC matches. They pour a good Guinness and the staff are friendly, engaging with neighborhood regulars and newcomers alike. A very laid-back environment and good for groups.
