Palermo's is the best. Been going to them since we moved into the neighborhood. They are a staple in the neighborhood. They support and give back to the community. Breads are baked daily, cakes are delicious. Love them.
Best Authentic Italian pastry shop in Brooklyn - Hands down!!! Enzo and Josefine Politi, the founders and owner operators, moved to Brooklyn from Palermo Sicily, Italy, are in their 70s and STILL go in everyday and predicament oversee and bake everything their.I used to go there as a kid... weekly... i recently went back and it's even better!!! If you find yourself anywhere near this place, go in!!!

Any occasion, my family buys desserts from Palermo's. If we just want a random cannoli or if we're celebrating someone's birthday, we always go here. I personally recommend their cannolis and their rainbow cookies. The best. I've gotten a lot of different types of desserts from this bakery but by far these are my favorite. I think the flavor of their food is just top-tier among the other bakeries in the area. They're a little bit pricey but the quality and staff are really nice....read full review
