Pancakes were good, but shakshuka wasn't traditional as we were use to, it tasted more like chilli

Lovely spot, came for brunch on my birthday. Same great food and great service as always, but I was surprised to find the Yemenite Pancake renamed (which is the best thing on the menu).I always thought they were cool for putting aside differences and shouting out their southern neighbors… I mean, Yemenis food is delicious.

1. They have a happy hour board outside to falsely attract customers. Apparently the happy hour has not been a thing for months, we asked them to take it down and they just said “yeah we will”. They didn't. 2. we got there at 3:30pm, the server didn't say a word about the kitchen closing at 4. So naturally we ordered hummus and discussed what we wanted for food and called her to order some more. She took our order and came back in 5. It was 4:06 and she said the kitchen is closed so too bad. Terrible service, we will not be coming back.

I highly recommend Reunion!Let’s start with the atmosphere. It’s a small restaurant with a cozy upscale vibe and great music playing. The cocktails were super good. We got the espresso martini and the earl grey martini. The food was also delicious!

Food was good, though there was an issue with our reservation on the restaurant's end and our table wasn't ready. They asked us to find somewhere else to wait for half an hour, on a 20 degree night. Would have been nice if the restaurant made any gesture to make up for that inconvenience, but they didn't!
Great Israeli food. I’ve had breakfast there easily a dozen times and it’s always been stellar.

Everything we ordered was outstanding. Possibly the best pita I've ever had (and I've had A LOT of pita). The challah was underwhelming, but not a dealbreaker since it's basically a vehicle for (excellent) macboucha. The staff are attentive and warm. The atmosphere and space are cozy and adorable. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in Brooklyn--need to eat my way through the whole menu tbh.
