Sam’s has a familiar atmosphere and excellent service off the bat, and probably the best chicken parm I’ve had in NYC. Thank you Sam’s for excellent food and hospitality, we will be back soon!
Caesar salad is excellent. Not too much dressing, the croutons were perfectly crunchy without breaking teeth, and the freshly grated cheese was out of this world.
Mozzarella sticks: wonderfully melty and crispy but missing some sort of seasoning / salt.
Meatballs: perfectly cooked - firm but not hard. Soft but not sloppy. Really good.

A+ job on breathing new life in to this inviting spot, while leaving the soul & spirit in place. The chicken parm is the definition of chicken parm.
