I come here weekly. Service is fast and attentive, food is outstanding. Kompot, langet on a grill, chicken pelmeni, and potato vareniki are my favorites from here.
If you're looking for authentic, homemade-style food in Brooklyn, Stolovaya is definitely worth visiting!
What I appreciate most about this place is that it stays true to traditional Eastern European cuisine. It's the kind of food that reminds you of home, familiar flavors, hearty portions, and comforting dishes without unnecessary complications.

Enjoyed authentic Soviet-style dishes here. The food was flavorful and hearty, the atmosphere has a distinctive nostalgic character, and the location is convenient. A memorable spot for traditional cuisine.

Stolovaya is a very good place with delicious and decently priced food. They offer authentic Russian/Ukrainian dishes like beef stroganoff and schnitzel in a cozy atmosphere. The menu includes perfect borsht, fresh salads, mashed potatoes, golubtzy, and Napoleon cake. The staff is kind and manages busy periods with calm efficiency, making it a great spot to try Soviet cuisine. Customers have noted the good size of portions and the impressive standards maintained by the kitchen. While the Kiev chicken was found to be dry and lacking flavor, dishes like Charcho and Russian-style chicken dumpling soups were praised as excellent. With quick service and a bustling environment, Stolovaya is a must-visit for those looking for traditional dishes at good prices.
