Wakky's African Restaurant is a place known for its fantastic and delicious food, with flavors that delight from the first bite to the last. Many customers praise the large portions of soup, especially Portharcourt soup, which is considered amazing and almost rivals Lagos-style suya. The suya itself is highly recommended, with one reviewer saying it nearly challenged Glovercourt Suya. The Nkwobi is also described as delish. The restaurant's jollof rice is fresh, flavorful, and not dry, making it a favorite for many. Egusi soup, served with yam or plantains, receives positive comments for its taste, although some mention concerns about meat in the soup or sand in the food. The mixed meat stew in a dark red sauce is also appreciated. Customers highlight the friendly, prompt, and attentive service, with a focus on quality and accessibility. The restaurant offers good value, delivering meals that are satisfying and well-prepared. However, some concerns about cleanliness, such as sand or tiny stones in the food and utensils, have been raised. Overall, Wakky's African Restaurant is recognized for its flavors, generous portions, and good service, making it a popular spot for those craving authentic African dishes.
