“Amazing flavor and service“

“Incredible vibe. Unique vinyl selection, amazing food, and a host who has mastered the art of the evening. It feels like dining at the house of someone with impeccable taste in both spice and sound. The speakers are the absolute star of the room—crisp, warm, and perfectly tuned to the space. 10/10, would move in if I could.“

“The waitress was very nice and she was very thoughtful to put our 2 person order ahead of a table of 8 that got in around the same time. The chicken drumstick, lentils and collard greens were delicious. Loved every bite. On the other hand, the other chicken dishes (the one in grilled pieces) fell a little flat or one note (too spicy). Overall I’d go back and stick to the vegetarian plates.“

“So I randomly stumbled into this restaurant in desperate need of food and while I was in the restaurant I found out my birth family sitting in the restaurant. The shock of it all maybe me choke on my food and I started hyperventilating. The restaurant staff were the kindest people and performed CPR and resisted me back. After that, they gave me food and water to recover from the shock and help ease the introduction with my family. 10/10 experience and the staff will be invited to the family reunion next month.“

“This place is cash only!
I was in the neighborhood, so I looked up places to get Nigerian food and then I found this spot.
I was really excited to try my first jollof rice.
Talking to the owners,
I explain that I would only like to do vegetables and jollof rice, no meat.
They were very understanding and gave exactly what I asked for. Because there was no meat the price was different.

The food was delicious, thank you for a wonderful meal.
When I am done abstaining from meat, I will come back for their fufu and okra soup with goat. I look forward to trying that for the first time as well.“

“My friends took me here. This is the best Nigerian food i’ve tasted in NYC thus far. And i’ve tasted a lot. I was impressed. I was so full but i couldn’t stop eating. However the service wasn’t so good. I feel the lady wasn’t to attentive cuz there was so much going on she couldn’t keep up. But the food which is the main attraction A.“

“Imma keep it simple... I brought fried fish and hollow rice, i had the need for for African food, i ordered, gotnmy food within 10min, went home, open my plate, fish was dry ahh hell, like it was left to the side for a couple of hours, I spent $31, i went to the store the next day after work, explain about to fish being dried and not freshly fried, i talked to the main woman that cooks and own the restaurant, without any disagreement, she made me fresh fried fish. To sum everything, she has great customer service and understood what im was explaining, thank you for the great customer service and making it right, I WILL BE BACK AGAIN !!“
