Walking by and hearing the Grateful Dead music, I decided to grab a beer and enjoy the music. A colleague walked by and we enjoyed happy hour on the outside deck. The place was buzzing before i left
I've only been here a couple of times but I'm a fan. This place is unique because it has a stage in the back and they host events every day ranging from comics, to artists. Check out their website to see what's going on this week. I came in an hour before closing with a rowdy bunch and the bartender was chill about it and didn't ask us to leave until about 30 minutes after their scheduled closing time. He also makes great drinks so great spot all around.
My friend wanted to take us to some of his favorite neighborhood bars, and Young Ethel's was our first stop. This place is a great little hole in the wall where the locals like to hang. It has a relaxed, casual vibe. The décor is lovely and fun. The bartenders are friendly and greet you with a smile. They have a nice selection of signature cocktails. I ordered a Bee's Knees, and it was very good. There is also a room in the back where you can catch free shows daily...
