The place is outdated but the people are a vibe and the music was groovy lmao jk jk It was a whole vibe and it Curtis is real cool. But if you go in spend a little extra to grab some country fried chicken, it's worth because the man in the kitchen don't play. Apparently, they just reopened and they're trying to get the brunch back up and running so keep an eye out for a good time.
More a bar than a restaurant on a Saturday night ( early evening 5-7pm). Fantastic soul food - pork chops , greens , corn bread , Mac-n-cheese just like grama makes them down south ( TX )! Chicken & waffles was right on target . GENEROUS pours on mixed drinks . Not sure why Yelp thinks this is also creole food? No gumbo , crawfish , etc Staff was friendly and our service was great

Went here for the first time with friends on a Wednesday night for dinner. The food was BANGIN! The chicken tenders, fish tacos, and salmon were all great. Same with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The garlic parm sauce for the tenders and the fish tacos sauce should be sold by the bottle. Service was good except for the fact that the meals came out almost 15 minutes apart.
