When I walked into this bar it reminded me of a typical village or town bar. The bar and standing area is thin and straight. The bar tenders were friendly and for the amount of people that were in the bar when we were there, they took orders pretty quickly.
Used to love this place. Little dive-ish bar with cheap food and darts. But lately prices have sky rocketed. If I'm paying $120 for 4 double gin and tonics, I'd expect expertly crafted cocktails at a swanky place. The prices no longer represent the atmosphere.
A far more extensive menu than your average Buffalo bar menu
The Tap House offers something that Chippewa does not in that this is a neighborhood type bar that services to a mature older crowd
The specialty beer and the beer selection is extremely extensive
The two owners , bartenders back of the house staff and security are all top notch professionals
