“I was not having a good night, and I stopped to get some food here on my way home from work on Friday night 12/6/24. I went to pay for my food through the drive thru and the cashier had asked if I was okay, I began to sob but I am so appreciative of her. Amber (I believe was her name) was very kind and sweet and she just let me vent about my current financial situation with no hesitation to just listen and be there. I’m currently pregnant and I just could not hold back the tears of being overwhelmed, and rather than her being awkward or turning me away (as I’d expect most to honestly, because it’s not their job to listen) she instead let me breathe and just talked to me about how there’s other possibilities out there. It’s not in her pay to be a listening ear but her kindness was very seen. It made my night and means the world. Thank you Amber for being so kind to me! It’s the small moments that mean the most. I wanted to leave a review in hopes of management seeing this. You have an amazing employee working for you!“

“I travel for work and I have celiac disease. This five guys location by far is the most attentive, cleanest, happiest, most pleasant five guys I’ve been to. I’ve eaten at this location more times than I could count and I have ZERO complaints. Love this location!“

“Just a wonderful place. I've bought food from here to bring home a couple times and finally got around to eating inside. Polite and professional staff every time that make me feel welcome, great food that's a lot better than the overly processed crap they serve in other fast food joints, good prices (yes, it's possible to get a good meal for just $5-8 dollars here) and the inside of the place is clean and well kept. Love it. This restaurant has become a favorite of mine and I will be coming here more in the near future.“

“I ordered a $9 Discovery lunchbox and asked chicken tacos and chalupas. But the person took the ordered on drive through probably didn’t hear it properly and my ordered was made wrong and instead of chicken tacos they gave me beef. This was the second time this has happened. First time when that happened I didn’t bother much but when this has happened again with me I was Kindda frustrated. I took that box to the manager days or two later and he offered me a new box. So kind of off.
I told the manager about multiple mistakes that have had occurred with me and friends that I know of. He told me that there is some new hire and they are making some mistakes as learn. Which is understandable.“

“I stopped here last night on the way home from a 4-day backpacking trip around Cranberry Lake in the Adirondacks. I was tired, ravenously hungry, and self-conscious about being dirty from camping out in the wilderness for that long. The woman at the front counter was incredibly friendly, competent, and professional. Not having eaten at Taco Bell for years, I wasn't sure how the food would be. My dinner was absolutely fantastic, looking beautiful and tasting delicious. I'll check out Taco Bell again on my next trip!“

“I consistently receive better service (better assembled food, friendliness and speed of staff despite any staffing shortages) the McDonald's on Arsenal as opposed to the one on State.

Dietary restrictions: I avoid lactose by asking for a large caramel iced coffee without cream.

If mayonnaise doesn't bother you like cheese does, consider requesting a dollop of mayo IN PLACE OF cheese on items such as the McDouble.

✅ LIFE HACK: request slivered onions instead of diced to make your sandwich more robust.

Parking: On a very busy, multiple lane main street near an intersection. Think ahead to plan your route as not to disrupt traffic while taking your sweet time turning into the bumpy entrance (concrete is disintegrating- is there gravel? Not sure. Be prepared to bridge the gap 🤣).“

“Best McDonald's in Jefferson County and the Watertown area. Most people with low ratings are just spoiled douches. That's my go-to McDonald's, and I highly recommend it. Use the mobile app for coupons, it'll save you a lot of money“

“Great spot to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I’ve never had to wait long for my food. Arby’s, they have the meats.

Parking: Parking lot does get busy during lunch.

Kid-friendliness: I always see kids here enjoying their Arby’s food.“

“This is a great location. Easy to find. Google maps takes you right here. It smelled so fresh and clean walking in....things going on... prep n such... greeted me promptly and politely, but, professional as well. Thank you for the great service. Hope to stop in this area and explore... I'll need a sandwich for that.

“I go there every Wednesday to get my usual bowl. The employees are extremely friendly and efficient. There are not many places at Drum to have a meal, so the PX can get quite congested at lunchtime. That being said, the employees are fast so I don't have to stand in line long and I can enjoy my lunchtime.“

“I absolutely love this place! I have never been disappointed in the food I’ve had here over the years. The employees are always kind and efficient. We all know food service is hard but they are always on top of their game and seem to go with the flow even when it’s busy.“

“I was on head count detail a few times so I got the chance to work in the back at the cash register. The soldiers in the back usually handle the food well. The only issue is the drive thru should have more options. The overall dfac is nice with many many options from the drinks to the deserts etc…“

They don't do "extra" when you pay for extra sauce very well, but at least you don't feel like a burden just buying something now. A marginal but noticeable improvement from say... last year“

“I typically order for pick up and my experience has never been bad. Food is always ready when we arrive. It's hot and fresh. If you order wings you just gotta shake the container a little so the sauce will coat the chicken. I love that they started offering their personal pizzas again (a couple years ago they didn't have them). I order maybe once or twice a month, typically a personal pan or if the family wants it we get one of the box deals. Also if you have never tried their sandwiches, I am a huge fan of the ham and swiss the fries are pretty good too.“
