This place is great if you want quality food in a high quality setting. Giant fireplace, stonework, chandelier, pool table, and the bar set a wonderful ambience. I really enjoy this place.Food & drinks: Excellent and fairly priced.
Terrific food. We loved our steak frit. Very tasty and nice portion with delicious fries. Waiter was pleasant. Great federalist style inn and restaurant. Very nice outdoor eating area on the large porch. With pleasant view of town of Callicoon. Looking forward to coming back.

This place is awesome, in every respect! Someone wrote that "the atmosphere is dark and dated," which is humorous, and ignorant, as it is an hystorically preserved building. Fabulous!...if you know what you are looking at : )
