The horse and sulky near wurtsboro ny is a wonderful bar and grill! The food is always excellent and the workers are friendly. I have gone here many times for food or drinks or both. The shaved steak sandwich is one of my favorites but I have never had a bad choice here. All the local folks seem friendly but sometimes you just cannot get a seat at the bar. Just off Route 17 between Monticello and I-84 there is this hidden gem of a restaurant. I am sure the locals have known about this place for a while, but for us, travelling up to the central NY, stumbling upon this place was one of the highlights of our road trip.
