The Lake House on Canandaigua

Always great place to dine by the lake. Soon remodeling will be done and so many of is interested in going to see how it will look. Awesome spot on the lake.

Rooms need some updating but atmosphere and restaurant are excellent!

The location was beautiful. I was only there for a professional event so Im not sure how the room service is. The catering service was wonderful. Food was delicious. Gorgeous view.

This is a nice resort hotel on Canandaigua Lake. The setting is fantastic, but the rooms are a little dated. However come mid October the place is shutting down for a massive renovation. (The elevations on display in the lobby look great). I'm eagerly looking forward to the new place because the service is always first rate.

I only stayed here for a weekend but I loved it here. Their staff were very polite, helpful and warm. The rooms are alot nicer than expected and i enjoyed my stay here. Their prices are reasonable but not cheap, but if your willing to spend a comfortable amount of money then this is the place for you. Unfortunately i was not able to enjoy the lake or boating activities here because it rained my whole weekend here. Definitely a place I would love to return to.

Limited menu Beet salad with salmon was delicious. Cheese tray could have been plated in a less disorganized display. Service was attentive and pleasant. Outdoor seating was nice but I'm looking forward to the more formal indoor dining experience next time.

Jacuzzi suite was incredible, the view, the service all perfect. It's one of my favorite places to stay on trip anywhere. Upset that it will be gone for a few years. Bartenders we're awesome. Can I give it six stars!!

It is a beautiful place to stay with excellent views and customer service. The Sand Bar is a great place to get a bite or a drink on a nice afternoon. (But the bar is far too crowded on Saturday nights.) Over all it's a great place.

This is a decent hotel with good restaurants and a fantastic view of the lake. They have lake side chairs where people sit and look at the water and chat. This is a great location to research if you are planning a fancy wedding. Great views. Also, if you have a boat on the lake, they have boat "parking."

Love it. Delicious food and excellent service. View is spectacular.

Great food and amazing outdoor seating enviroment

Food was good but the lack of service for mother's day weekend was disappointing.

I ordered two different cocktails, neither were made correctly.

Went there August 29th for lunch (6+1 child). Could not have been better. Smothered with excellent and friendly service. Very reasonable prices for outstanding entrees. Perfect setting on the lake. Outdoor dining on a pitch perfect day.
