Nolan's is a local treasure and it's always a treat to visit here. It's a beautiful new building with amazing staff. My husband had the Captain's Platter which he loved. I ordered the Asiago Scallops and was disappointed. I was intrigued to think two of my favorite things were combined into one dish but it really didn't have enough influence from the cheese for the word Asiago to be included in the name of the dish. It was my husband's and my first visit. The restaurant is nice inside and out, comfortable inside and spacious. Some of the food was really good, and some could use improvement. I didn't feel like my French onion soup had that homemade taste. I've had much better. We had lunch and brought home 2 lunches. My husband's potato salad was weird, to say the least. This was a fabulous meal! Calimari to start-light tender and crispy. Wedge salad (been wanting to order this...it was spectacular and worth every penny). Prime Rib & lobster tail for dinner ( cannot say which was better. They both melted in your mouth).Creme Brule for dessert (i loved it!)We sat in a booth...fireplace set to...perfect.
