My son gave me a birthday present of the 2 of us attending a cooking class to make a pasta dish from scratch and enjoy it for lunch. We had a wonderful time. The instructor is outstanding, as is the equipment. We started with flour and eggs and ended up with a delicious sauce on our 'home made' pasta - an experience that I'll never forget.
Took a Chef’s Table Class with Chef Eli Tate. Had such a nice time. He was funny and very informative. Gave different tips from holding a knife to showing us how to peel a parsnip with the back of the knife (I honestly never knew that was possible). It was a beautiful sunny, snowy afternoon the day of the Merrymaking makers Market event that I attended. I bought several unique gifts made by local vendors. I then had the pleasure of going upstairs and eating at the New York kitchen Café. The multiple windows invited the sunshine in where one can look out at the lake or at the grounds.
