We have been coming for a few years. The food in general is good.My husband Loves the Romanian steak. Today was a big disappointment with the manager(tall guy). It’s like he is there just to do his job and not care about customer service. Ben's Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers in Carle Place is a well-organized spot with efficient and pleasant workers. Customers appreciate the quick service, although some find it pricey. The best pastrami sandwiches with all the trimmings are a highlight, often served with pickles and coleslaw. Many love the corned beef sandwiches as well, indicating that everything about this place is good. The coleslaw is particularly outstanding, and the hot pastrami on fresh bread is delicious. Many customers enjoy the potato pancakes or fries, and the chicken in a po is described as just yummy. The restaurant also offers Tuesday Tacos, which some find to be a nice, new option. The ambiance is lively and suitable for families with kids and young adults, making it a popular choice for casual dining. The customer service is outstanding, with friendly managers who take time to chat. The restaurant is known for its good hot food, and the staff is welcoming. While the matzah ball soup is good, some items like the hush puppies may sometimes be unavailable, leading to minor disappointment. Parking is convenient with handicap access and a large lot. Overall, Ben's is a reliable place for sandwiches, soup, and quick bites, with a commitment to kindness and professionalism.
