“Nice local spot, has been around for over 10yrs too, local neighborhood place. Sit and have a drink at the bar or bar tables... or take a table for your meal. We did both. The drinks were good, the apps were good: wings nice sweet heat and crispy, the dumplings & fried mozzarella both the typical flavor and didn't stand out but still enjoyable, as for the stuffed clams, kinda the usual all bread little clam( what were we thinking). Our meals were overall good too; the chicken cordon bleu came pre sliced not as hot as I would like though, a little dry lacking enough cheesy center, yet it was still tasty, and on the other hand the marinated skirt steak was enjoy by two others in our party, full of flavor cooked correctly and very tender. All sides of rice and broccoli were a nice complement to our entrees. (one less star for the maraschino cherries in our old fashion and the waitress with zero personality) note: the table was well serviced though; waters filled regularly, bread replenished, plates cleared!“
“Neighborhood bar / pubThe Newbridge Inn has been kicking it for a long time now and it has a faithful following of locals that keep the place rocking.Been here a number of times over the years and well, never had a bad experience.Great drinks and bartenders and better than average food are available at the bar.The unexpected and ridiculously good white pizza w onions was a most pleasant surprise- who would have expected such a delight from a place where the typical app is wings or nachos?There is some outdoor space in the rear and the only downside to the place is that parking can be hard to come by - you'll have to park directly on busy Jerusalem ave.Definitely give it a shot - worth a trip just for the pizza“
“Our GO TO pub in Baldwin. It's like walking into Cheers Bar - everyone knows your name and you are greeted with a hug and a smile. Shay is just the BEST and the staff is simply amazing. We love watching games, listening to the bands and playing trivia on Thursday night. Just a GREAT hometown place to hang!!!“
“I highly recommend you come to the Rabbits Foot! Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time last night! The live singer was great he sang great Elvis songs, the food was delicious, had the burrata and fried calamari as an appetizer , and for dinner I had the Rigatoni, and my boyfriend had a delicious burger everything was 10/10, the atmosphere was great! Our waitress was kind and timely, the drinks ? were great!“
“I went in for a few beers and randomly ordered the wings to go - they were surprisingly amazing I’m not sure what mix of sauce they use (in the best way possible) it was delicious and unexpected! I will be back!! This is such a cute little bar spot and definitely a hidden gem!!!“
“Visit Date: March 25, 2023I came to The Shannon Rose Pub with a close friend of mine to see the band cover storm. We shared a sausage and jalapeno pepper pizza and I got wild drinkin' them seltzers! There's a cool spot that looks like kind of a window with 3 chairs and it's a cool spot to see the music. I was here once before when my friend Dave who owns top shelf karaoke did a show. I had a pizza when I came to see his karaoke show as well. Shannon Rose is a pretty cool little pub to check out!“
“The Broadway Tavern is a place tucked away in Malverne and is a great place for people to meet and socialize. They have many different events every week to keep everyone happy. The outdoor garden is a hidden gem where you can hold family gatherings and have a great time. They have great entertainment on weekends and provide the best in service. Malverne should be pleased to have such a great establishment!“
“I'm a huge fan of small town bars. Love this place and the Vibes it carries with it. Something about uncommercialized bars that I love. They have a pool table which isn't the best but definitely does the job. Pool is $2 a game. They have cheap beers in tap and also had UFC on which is a huge plus.“
“This is a new MUST TRY! The Pub house just opened up and I've been there 3 times already. Each time I have ordered something different and it has not let me down! The pizza had the perfect crisp, the tacos were loaded, and the salad kept me full all day. Bartender and owner are super friendly and was a great place to unwind with a drink (or two!). This place is new but I see it becoming a neighborhood hot spot very soon! Recommend it to all who enjoy good pub food and chill atmospheres.“
