“Shannon was an absolute sweetheart. So cozy and decorated so cute inside. My wife and I only ever had frozen Shepards pie and pre prepared shepherds pie from Costco, after ordering it Shannon was so nice she even cut it in half and served it split to my wife and I. She offered us samples of her chili and soups, absolutely phenomenal as well. The shepherds pie felt like Shannon was my grandmother, and I was over her house for dinner. You can tell all the ingredients are obviously fresh, and Shannon cares a lot about what she does. I genuinely felt like I was eating at my/ or someone's grandmother's house. Nothing but positivity all the way. We also couldn't pass up on the key lime pie and smores cookie. The key lime pie was absolutely phenomenal. The smores cookie bought me back to my childhood like in boyscouts or camping with family/friends. I will always support and enjoy friendly local owned businesses, Shannon's pies are extremely tasty and well detailed and she was even telling me about how she gets to her shop at 2am and starts making everything, and it shows she pours her dedication and love right into those pies. We wish we had multiple stomachs to taste everything, she has pulled pork pies, chicken pot pies, obviously the shepherd pies, mac and cheese pies, quiche, cookies, cakes, dessert fruit pies and much more. 10/10 all the way. “We’ve been visiting The Cake Lady for a few years now, often stopping in for small treats—and the cupcakes never disappoint! They’re always fresh, delicious, and offered in such unique flavors.

For my recent bridal shower, my mom suggested we order the cake from The Cake Lady, and I’m so glad we did. I brought in an inspiration photo, and Sharyn immediately understood the vision with just a few notes. She was upfront and clear about the number of layers needed, the design details, and the cost. She also provided great suggestions for flavor combinations.

We chose a two-layer cake with one layer filled with strawberry custard and the other with a cannoli filling. Since the inspiration photo included flowers, Sharyn offered to decorate the cake with fresh flowers if we dropped them off the night before—which we did.

When my fiancé picked up the cake the morning of the shower, I was blown away by how closely it matched the picture. It was absolutely beautiful, and the cannoli filling was a huge hit—guests couldn’t stop raving about it and kept asking where the cake was from!

I’ll absolutely be returning to The Cake Lady for future events. Her work is stunning and the desserts taste just as amazing as they look!

“I was given a box of their matzoh. I dislike American brands like Streit's and Manischewitz. The only brand I buy in the store is Yehuda; I prefer Israeli style matzoh. I've had handmade matzoh before and it tasted terrible! I cannot believe how delicious this matzoh is. I live 40 miles away, so it's not convenient, but I want more. Think about mail or internet orders. Your matzoh is perfect.“

Can buy challah bread there too. I bought one once but my dog ate it before I had a chance. Dog loved it and did not get sick, so i suppose our furry friends can enjoy a kosher meal as well.“

“As I travel all over I love finding places like this, and honestly I never found a place like this. I would just go there just to talk with Bonnie. She was such a pleasure to be around. Amazing that she has created this wonderful place in this small town for the locals to come and enjoy. You can tell she has put her heart and soul into every bite for you to enjoy. Bring a friend and have a coffee and a snack or pick up a small box to take home and enjoy.

I picked up an assortment of all the basic good things to try and they were definitely good. I had no idea what it was or how to pronounce it but the way it was executed in such a detailed way that it wasn't just a little cookie. It was a cookie that melted in your mouth (so if you have little to no teeth then you are in luck) with hints of chocolate, jam, and a cream filling. You can tell Bonnie takes her time with these. If you are also thinking these cookies are too sweet and can easily overload on them...you won't! These aren't super sugary American cookies and treats, these are a real bite of Europe!“
