Panther Mountain Inn and Tavern

We had dinner from the Panther Mountain inn tonight, never again. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food. They said it would be done in an hour but when we got there it wasn’t ready. So, I was sitting at home starving with six other people. Anyway, when the two fathers finally came home with the food, we were disappointed. The quesadilla and Turkey bacon, ranch wrap were soggy like a swamp, one of the pizzas were charred but my tenders were good. The woman on the phone was also rude and didn’t have a good attitude. They gave us a refund but told us the manger wasn’t there because “They were overwhelmed”. Turns out there were about five people at the bar. When they went inside to get a refund, the owner was also there. If there wasn’t a manager they could’ve at least let us talk to the owner. They also said that they didn’t do takeout anymore. If they didn’t do takeout, then why not tell us? I don’t recommend this place if you have a big group of people, not a lot of time and want a quesadilla or a turkey, bacon and ranch wrap.

absolutely terrible, we ordered the pizza was burnt to a crisp and my wrap was so soggy and wet that i couldn’t even pick it up. never again absolutely the worst food ever, and to mention the customer service

Just a comment on the Tavern. We went on Sunday and Tuesday in August 2024 while staying on Brant Lake. On both nights their voicemail and website said they were open. On Sunday the bar was open but kitchen was closed. On Tuesday, neither was open. ?. Best to call and speak to a person if you plan to go there!!

We had a wonderful dinner at the P last night. Darren and Lexi were extremely busy between bar, large table in dinning room and takeout orders. Small and family owned. It is a place you want to sleep and rest. And I have found it a great a place to rest and sleep after a long day of hiking or fishing. I have been going there for over 10 years.

On this snowy March night, I visited the Tavern. I had Thai wings and loaded potato skins. Both of which were amazing. The pool table was active, jukebox was playing music and place was alive. The bartender was friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place if your passing thru. Posted a pic of the radiator space heater in the bathroom, just cause it was odd.

If I could give a zero I would.I never leave reviews, but we were denied service because I have a service dog and she was not allowed.And FYI the place smelled like smoke.

Food & drinks: What a great spot in the middle of north country in the Adirondacks! The bar/restaurant offers much more than just a bar joint but also pool, darts, jukebox, QuickDraw. I have tried few food items such as the burgers, turkey club, and the pizza! All have been great. Highly recommend all those choices. Bartenders are always friendly and provide great service.

The restaurant is great for a quick meal or if you're into sitting at the bar for a few drinks. Haven't stayed in the hotel, so I can't rate that.

One has to remember that the PMI is not a $400/night Hilton. With that in mind, we loved our stay. The staff were great, the food was good!. The mattress was wonderful. This is the number one most important factor. We got a good night's sleep. The town is quiet, the Inn was quiet. The room was sufficient, and clean!!, we would stay here anytime. Locals also come and enjoy dinner, the bar, and the bar tender. Great value for the price. Thank you.
