“Went here prior to a concert at Cohoes Music Hall. Service was A+. I ordered a small pizza and it knocked my socks off. One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! Beer was great too. Best part is never having to "look" or "waive down" your server...they were beyond attentive. Even on a weekend night. Great local biz“

“I really like the ambiance of Active Ingredient, I can't wait till it's warmer to try their patio area. All of the bartenders were very nice. They had excellent beers, along with some wine and cocktails for the non-beer drinkers. My husband loved their Amber, and I loved their Freudian Sips, which was a honey Kolsch. Both of their sours had a nice taste as well as their Oryza, which is a Japanese Rice lager. The food was good as well. We got the pretzel as an appetizer, it was nice and buttery. I wish there was just a touch more seasoning . My husband got their Nashville hot chicken sandwich, he didn't offer to share so that speaks for itself. I got their special burger which was a Mac and cheese burger. We both would definitely come again.“
“Great place for a date with the hubby, but plenty of families there too (Friday night at dinner hour). Burgers were delicious, beer was great, service was quick and friendly.Parking: There's a lot nearby that was free to park. Not sure if it's free during the day or if you need a permit.“
“Awesome place!!! Live band was amazing, not too loud either. Bartenders were fast and efficient for the size crowd that was there. Ordered meat lovers pizza and garlic parm wings. Pizza was delish my only complaint would be the wings didn’t have a ton of flavor. I am definitely going back again.“
“Gabby and Dez were amazing on bar- super attentive and the BEST cocktails! The wings are crispy and juicy…cooked to perfection with tasty sauces! The gobbler was awesome but way too big- sourdough slices would have been perfect. My husband enjoyed the burger.“
