The Tavern has been in business a long time. Used to be called The Clam Steam Tavern. Was and maybe still is, a popular country music venue. My dad was a country and western singer and played there a lot in the 50's. Maybe even in the late 40's. A nostalgic band stand and dance floor is still there and looks like it is in use. The food is standard bar food but very good. I do not eat seafood however my wife does and really likes the clams. Enjoy eating on the outside...

Great location on the Mohawk river, nice green space across the street. Inside was what I'd describe as a joint, in the best sense.
