The New Countryside Family Restaurant is a cozy diner that serves good home-style food. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including the popular beer battered fish fry, Belgian waffles, omelettes, and chicken and biscuits. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the owner is often present to greet customers. The food is consistently good, and the restaurant is a great spot for a family meal or a casual breakfast or lunch.
Customers have praised the restaurant, describing the food as "very good" and "out of this world." The chicken and biscuits, in particular, have been highlighted as a standout dish, with homemade-style vegetables and biscuits over mashed potatoes. The service is generally praised, though some customers have noted occasional delays in service and refills. The overall atmosphere is described as reminiscent of the "old your host restaurants," with a friendly and welcoming vibe.
