Cafe con mel is a delightful local restaurant specializing in coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and rice bowls. The food is always phenomenal. The staff is a delight and takes the time to get to know their returning customers. The restaurant is located conveniently within the Guilderland Public library and has a cozy and eclectic vibe. I go to the GPL frequently and I was delighted to discover this cafe right inside the library! What a little gem! In addition to the delicious, fresh food and beverages, they offer an ongoing used book sale, (what book lover doesn’t appreciate used books for a mere $1 right!? ?) But also cute little gift items! I believe some are locally made. I want to see sweet, locally owned establishments succeed and thrive! So I am on a mission to not only make a purchase at every library...read full review
Good service, food could use seasoning but service is great. The atmosphere has little tables but nice and quiet and you are able to buy books in a little nook inside the cafe.
