“The first thing you'll notice when stepping into Taqueria Tren Maya is how pleasant the place is. If you take the time to look up you will be greeted with an absolute jungle of potted plants all of which are thriving! The wall is adorned with their menu and accoutrements galore!

The people are friendly and attentive, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Seating is abundant, I get the feeling that they are normally busier than when I was there.

The menu is what you would expect from a taqueria, however unexpected this far north the food is absolutely authentic. I myself got a barbacoa burrito which was absolutely divine! The burrito came with a hot sauce, I would rank as medium, definitely had some chipotle seasoning to add not just heat but flavor.

I highly recommend this taqueria and will be looking forward to returning now that I know it's here.“

The lobster tails were stuffed with shrimp and scallops with a creamy white sauce and cheese... the green beans seasoned perfectly with fresh garlic, the rice was cooked to perfection. The meal was perfectly plated and resembled a piece of art. I enjoyed every morsel. The lobster,shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly. Couple things though... 1) really really irks me when anyone i'm paying doesnt say thanks, thank you, etc. It was take out, I even gave a nice tip. Say thank you - goes a long way. 2) fries were Ok, not great, pasty and just eh, 3) salad greens were disgusting. Inedible, tasted like they were in dirty water, and 4) parking lot was thrashed. this was sat, so cleanup from friday should've been done. Empty bottles, cans, etc. Gross.
