The area with tables is very small, so finding a spot to eat our meal was difficult. Additionally, the tables and area were quite dirty from the constant turnover of guests, so we had to clean off the trash before we ate.“

“I have been a loyal customer of k street food since they opened. I would have given them 5 stars, however lately I noticed changes to certain dishes I am accustomed to purchasing. The food here was always fresh and tasty. I sure hope Mr. and Mrs. Moon ,( owners/ read these reviews, since they're no longer working here. The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. Please don't change the original dishes that made us fall in love with your establishment. Looking forward to your progress. Namaste 🌻“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“I love a flavorful vegan burger that isn’t too heavily loaded with salt. The vegan hajji was packed with flavor and offered a healthier version to a chopped cheese. I enjoyed mine with the cassava fries that was a mix of slightly sweet and spicy served with the deuce sauce and garlic aioli. The cassava was very soft and not too chewy which made it easy to enjoy. Will definitely be back to try some secret menu options, but I can’t stop thinking about how much flavor the vegan hajji added to my palette.“

“I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but this place has the absolute best fried chicken I’ve had in ages.

For many years we were huge KFC fans. Then… slowly they started going downhill. The chicken became ultra soggy and “blah”. The sides are the sides and towards the end the coleslaw was the only good thing.

We then moved on to Popeyes. Loved it for a while then the same thing. Chicken didn’t hold up well getting it home and it is only about 5-10 minute ride to the house. The sides and choices were good but after a while it just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Fast forward to last night. My husband has been saying “You guys HAVE to try this place!!!!” To me and my son. So that’s what we did. He came come with some Classic Chicken Sandwiches and an 8 piece of fried chicken with two sides and some biscuits. The chicken sandwiches were huge perfectly fried pieces of white meat chicken on a bun with Mayo and pickles. That’s it. It was amazing and juicy and tender. The fried chicken absolutely made the 15 minute ride home staying CRISPY with not one ounce of condensation. It was flavorful and juicy and just delicious. (Note: the sides were good). The biscuits were soft and delicious as well.

Also need to add that the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. Excellent experience and happy new customer!!!!

Oh yeah and it’s just as flavorful and delicious at room temp or from fridge. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

The highlight of the night was Lourdes the cashier/ attendant. She was so friendly and welcoming and attentive. She was able to recommend things on the menu and elaborate on the options.

“Best thing that ever happened to Rego Park in a while. I missed the days Taco Bell was still at QCM. I’m so glad there’s finally a closer Taco Bell. The location is very clean. Service is also fast. The restaurant itself doesn’t really get crowded since most people order for delivery. They’re consistent with making the food (I’ve ordered from here at least 20 times already), and they’re open until 3am sometimes! “My visit to Arepa Mania Bar & Grill in NY was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing the Reina Pepiada arepa was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The chicharrón was crispy and delicious, and the natural passion fruit juice was incredibly refreshing.

The spice levels are not on par with Sam’s Hot Chicken in Hillside which they are allegedly partners OR share recipes with (I am unsure). I wish the price wouldn’t increase practically every time I order food from here. There needs to be transparency with payment methods and tax, which other customers have brought up. Once I came during lunch time, they refused to apply the lunch time price specials which is a bummer. Please don’t advertise deals you won’t actually enact, it’s extremely disappointing.
