We went to the Maharaja India resturant at Colonie for dinner and the food was amazingly tasty. In last 7 years, we have tried other Indian restaurants in the area but there is no comparison in the taste. The service was quick outstanding in warm and cozy atmosphere. We had a veg platter (includes almost everything) Paneer Tikka Masala and DAL MAKHANI…yes the real North Indian Dal Makhani!! I went to Maharaja for lunch today with 2 friends. @ of us arrived 1:30pm and the waiter failed in inform us that they close at 2:30pm. We ordered soup and nan and wine and told the waiter to wait till the third person arrives to palce her order and the 3 of us eat together. The waiter brought the soup no nan no wine. 2:10pm when the 3rd person arrived the waiter told us that they were closing by 2:30pm. The third order was placed and one more glass of wine.
