About HardBall Café
HardBall Café Reviews
Food is terrible. Extremely overpriced… draft beer for $14 per! It’s only redeeming quality is that it’s right on main st with outdoor seating but don’t do it!
Don’t eat there the food is over priced and terrible. The only thing nice about the place was the waitress. She was very sweet. The manager was disrespectful and spoke to me that I should like the food matter what.
Terrible customer service, don’t waste your time. Try the double day cafe.

HardBall Café is a popular destination in Cooperstown, known for its great atmosphere and delicious food. The restaurant is welcoming to large groups, including baseball teams, and provides excellent service alongside a large menu. Prices remain reasonable, and there are plenty of parking spots available. The café is also kid-friendly, featuring an amazing selection on the children's menu. Wheelchair accessibility is easy. Recent reviews highlight a remarkable experience, with one customer raving about the pretzels and the attentive service, especially from bartender Sarah and waitress Megan, who made guests feel like family. While the service may be a bit slow during busy times, it is generally very accommodating. The Bambino Burger, made with local cheddar and served with fries, is noted for its juicy quality. Despite some earlier reports of a decline in quality, HardBall Café continues to be a recommended spot for visitors in Cooperstown, especially for those attending baseball tournaments.
