Sal's Pizzeria of Cooperstown is a must-visit spot, especially after touring the Baseball Hall of Fame. The slices are great, with a perfect mix of crunchy and soft crust. The chicken bacon ranch slice is a standout, a little greasy but in a good way. The staff is friendly and offers excellent customer service. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and flavorful sauce. Despite some minor issues with missing cheese on certain areas of the pizza and handling of food, Sal's is highly recommended for a tasty meal. Free parking is available during the baseball off-season.
