“Just moved not to long ago and was missing the halal platters from my cart around the corner of home. This fulfilled my craving and more. Tastes just like the Og back in Brooklyn.

Tried some other things like the spicy chicken sandwich, sliders, and burger. All are cooked perfectly and tasted fresh.

“Moved from queens and I'm so glad I found this spot. Tried the lamb gyro and the whiting fish. Both the lamb and the fish were so tender. I love the freshness of the cucumbers, onions, and lettuce, the colors were beautiful and so clean tasting, they also made it super saucy which won my heart. This is gonna be my goto halal food spot for a quality quick bite.“

“Shah’s Halal is clean, welcoming and has an excellent array of very fresh food. We are all used to fast food but waiting 3-5 minutes for a perfect falafel is worth it. The staff will help you pick out just what you need to eat, even if you’re not sure what you want. Vegetarians have many choices here, all delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Catered food from La Estacion for my company’s holiday party. It was the best decision I made , food was ready on time, I ordered about 13 food items, 2 desserts , and Cha, and they did not disappoint, every item was very tasteful, everyone said the food was delicious and we’re asking where I ordered from . Some people who came late even said they enjoyed the food before warming it up again. Definitely will be doing catering from here for future events.“

“Al Kababi is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Pakistani food. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with these amazing aromas that just get you excited for what’s coming. The fact that it’s Zabiha makes it even better, knowing everything is halal and carefully sourced. The food? Incredible. We started with the beef Bihari, and they were so juicy and packed with flavor—just the right amount of spice and served with this fresh mint chutney that tied everything together. The biryani, which was perfection. The rice was fragrant, and the meat was super tender, with all those spices working in harmony. The real star, though, was their Amazing Nihari. It tasted homemade, like something you’d get at a family gathering. The spices were bold but balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection. You could tell they put real love into this dish.
And let’s not forget the naan—soft, warm, and just the right texture to scoop up all the delicious flavors. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re craving real Pakistani food, Al Kababi should be at the top of your list. As it is my first time being here, I was blown away by all these delicious flavors. This definitely won’t be my last time. Highly recommend! 5 STARS!“

“I was a little skeptical about this place at first, but everyone I know who had been here recommended it. I am glad I listened to them and tried their lamb/beef gyro. It was amazing! Going back to try the chicken gyro today. Can’t recommend this place enough! Just wish they had some chairs to sit down and eat there.“

“Called to make a reservation this past Saturday and spoke to Muhammed who was extremely accommodating. Drove from Oakdale and arrived at 6:30, table was ready and we were quickly seated. The place is very small but we were comfortable and not rushed at all.
Now for the food..... Chicken Korma and Chicken Mango were delicious as was the Eggplant Bharta. Spice levels were perfect and portions generous. Naan was great as well.
Thank you Muhammed for the dessert and we can't wait to return.

“Even though I've had a bad experience with a different Shah's location in the past, I still decided to give this location a try. Restaurant was clean and kept organized. Staff was friendly and service was fast. I had the chicken chapli platter and was very satisfied. Food was flavorful and filling. Comparable prices to other similar restaurants.“

“This is the best place to get Halal, period. They are incredibly friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to ensure you get exactly what you want. If they are low on a side item, they gladly run to the back and get you more, fresh. My wife once forgot her wallet, had some cash in her pocket and was a little short, they said no problem and worked with her. The portions are always generous, food is incredibly tasty and it's consistent. Always the same few people at the counter, so you tell it's a close-knit group.“
