“Stopped for lunch on our trip from IA to VT. We were very surprised with his menu which had quite a few American items and a half dz or more hispanic items that looked delicious. We ordered burger deluxes and a side of fries. All was delicious and big portions. Still thinking about the arepas rellena, and the chicken or beef empanadas. Only 4 stars because there was a guy right outside fixing his car and playing music way too loud. Great service.“
“Drop and hook, quick check in, sweep out trailer and paper was in hand quick as well. Guard shack lady was very friendly. Would have been 5 stars but there’s no excuse for yard jockeys to crank trailer legs way down. 90 plus degrees and cranking a loaded trailer down is a recipe for disaster and there’s really no other way it got like that.“
“Great food! We were staying in the area and found this location on Yelp. I use the online service to place the order for takeout. We stop by the very clean restaurant, and were welcomed immediately by the nice employee.Good portions and flavor. It was the least greasy Chinese we have ever had!“
“The portions are large, a large soft serve is about 14" above the cone!! The girls at the counter could be nicer, the one with blonde hair was quite rude. Not sure where customer service has gone anymore. Too bad because the staff really make or break the atmosphere. Perhaps she should cook and not serve the customers.“
“I love this place! My dad and I visited after our fish fry last week although I have been here a few times before as well. Big Dipper is very inviting with plenty of seating. It is open late and offers handmade ice cream! Unfortunately, the prices are a bit steep in my opinion but there are plenty of options for you to choose from (i.e., Italian flavors, soft serve, my go-to: cookie dough and cotton candy, Sundaes, etc.). You can get your ice cream in a bowl, a cone, specialty cone, etc. They even have "pup bowls" if your pup enjoys ice cream, too! A perfect summer spot and the service has been great every time I've been; they are very efficient so don't let a long line turn you away!“
