“This is hands down the best fish fry I have ever had. Everything from the fish fry, salads, and pierogis were the best I have ever had. Our waitress was amazing and when she told us there was a wait for food- we were patient. It was worth it!!! We will be back again!!!!!!“

Butter Bar

“Started going here 60 years ago when I was in grade school across the street. Still owned and operated by the Geles family. Very reasonably priced, old fashion, from scratch, incredibly tasty baked goods. I recommend taking their unique, one of a kind butter bar to parties. The family owned secret filling was created by Mr. Geles. Always a big hit and our family's favorite! They also make great presents! Traditional Polish Chrusciki always available. Pączki available for Pączki (Fat Tuesday) Day/Lent. Cross breads available for your Święconka (blessing of the Easter baskets).“

“Stopped for lunch after our annual family trip to the Broadway Market during Easter season. Ordered the Polish Platter which was enough food for two (2) to share, or two (2) meals. I opted for smoked sausage and cheese and kraut pierogi - all delicious! The golumbki was reminiscent of my grandmas - kapusta was just right, and fantastic potato pancakes! My husband isn't a huge fan of Polish food, but raved about the breaded pork chops and potato pancakes!“

The Broadway Market, 999 Broadway, Buffalo - 11.25 miles

“Starting with the pierogi trio, it provided a satisfying array of flavors, loved all the sour cream on the side!Hope to try the dessert pierogis someday! The goulash was the star of my meal! Goulash is a dish that relies heavily on the slow-cooking process to develop rich flavors, and it seems Babcias pierogis nails it in this department. The meat and well-balanced spices likely make it a standout dish on the menu. However, the golabki falls short of my expectations as it was under seasoned. The Golumbki, stuffed cabbage rolls, should ideally be bursting with flavor from the meat filling and the sauce. The lack of seasoning might result in a bland taste and a missed opportunity to fully enjoy this classic dish. But with a combined bite of the goulash I did eat all of the golumbki. The service was good and the ambiance is made up of whatever is happing at the broadway market which can be quiet, low-key, and a little eerie, but it can also be loud, busy, and eventful! Depends when you go! Overall, I will be visiting again!“

“My friends and I had a large party for my birthday and enjoyed every minute! I was the only one who had previously visited Sto Lat and my friends were quickly impressed. Very happy with my choice to come here for brunch opposed to competitors. Our food was delicious, and largely portioned. The only thing I’d of appreciated was having a carafe of bottomless mimosas instead of waiting for our server each time but she was on top of it and did a great job taking care of us. Would recommend to anyone!“
