“Really beautiful wood paneling- this place is a gem. The cheeseburger is house-made and FANTASTIC. I had mine with the salad option which was also delicious....a real salad and not just some mixed greens on a plate with Kraft salad dressing. Added a nice local lager. The chef came out to chat - it was a great experience in one of Toronto's last great neighborhoods. This place should be way busier than it was....but maybe people like that about it? Saw quite a few people chilling with a book at the bar or in one of the old -timey booths.“

“It was my first time at the place. The staff clearly explained to me what was available and I got enough cutlery and napkins. The pierogies were made in delicious water which had very nice taste of bay leaves and garlic. Very delicious. I also got a generous amount of sour cream with it and the pierogies were soft and delicious and gushy in taste. Highly recommend.“
