“I almost don't want to write this review because I want to gatekeep this place from everyone and enjoy it all to myself.Sit at the counter and enjoy the feeling of sitting at home with family; truly the coziest spot to sit with a morning cup of coffee.Amazing, attentive and truly genuine service that cannot be beat.I enjoyed the polish breakfast and my companion had cabbage roll and pierogies. We got 2 donuts to go, plum and custard. This was not enough donuts. I could eat 20 of them.run, don't walk. but save me a spot.“
“Kovalsky was awesome! The food was very fresh. I truly felt like I was eating a home cooked meal! We ordered a platter for two *2 for four people, it was just enough food. I highly recommend coming here!My only complaint, is I wish we had a little more food for the price that we paid.“
“They sell frozen pierogies dumplings of different flavours but for warm pierogies only veal or potato cheese are available. 1 dozen for $7 and half dozen for $5.50. We asked for 1 dozen but half potato cheese and half veal. Potato cheese is flavourful but veal is not. They sell various eastern European food“
“Love this place, particularly when the Saturday Sessions are on, with host Bill Heffernan. The waitstaff are terrific, and can remember what you want the minute they see you walking in the door—makes you feel so welcome. The owner is celebrating 35 years of the Inter Steer experience on the 24th. Congratulations Eva.“
“We had an early Polish Wigilia with 34 family. The food was delicious and served elegantly. We began with a prayer reminding us of the miracle that brought Jesus to Mary and Joseph and brought Joy to the world then and now.We broke Opłatek and shared love, reconciliation and hope for the future. Barszcz was served. Then we had a buffet table with cabbage rolls, variety of pierogis, pork shnitzel, potato pancakes, garden salad, herrings, Apple Strudel with ice-cream. Mingling around an open bar quenched our thirst and renewed our family bonds. It was a memorable event. A great place for family events.“
“not only do i suspect that drom is the coolest place in town, but likely it is one of the coolest places in any city. the music is hot, the vibe is sexy, everyone who works there looks to cool to work anywhere, and yet there they are, taking care of you, making sure you get filled to the top with culture. the sound paneling really helped the acoustics, too. cocktails and food are delish.“
“OMGOODNESS, what a hidden gem! Thankful my Aunt knew it well. Huge portions, amazingly tasty and quick to the table, hot and fresh! Service was so friendly and accommodating. In town for an appointment but would definitely travel the hour to enjoy again!“
