“Maybe we were overhyped. Everything I heard and read said this place was legendary. But the menu was limited: beef on Weck and buffalo wings... or if you want a pizza, you can get the same options but on a crust with cheese. Otherwise, fairly standard sports bar apps.
The inside seemed too dark for a lunch, and the 'outside' area with lots of snow was crowded. Service was polite, but slow for such a small menu. We're told the place always gets a wait by noon and yet it takes 25 minutes to get your food even with so few options for entrees seems uncalculated and unnecessarily slow.
Food was good, but I'd say I've had equal quality wings and sauce at a bit fairer price. And the beef on weck seemed on par with Charlie the butcher, but comes with a handful of chips, not fries, at $15 for just the sandwich? I couldn't go 5 stars. Cost of business, I suppose

“We just ordered a wonderful take-out dinner from Mario’s! His homemade meatball bomber was satisfying and bursting with Italian flavor and creative touches…it was also packed with meatballs from the first bite to the last! We added homemade minestrone soup and cannolis to our order and both were comforting and satisfying. We’ll be back! There’s no reason “not to go to Mario’s”!”

“First off, I just want to say I do love your pizza and it’s refreshing to see a local restaurant that doesn’t sling the same style of Buffalo pizza that so many others do. I really think you guys need a full-service bar with taps and interesting cocktails. I feel your business would skyrocket if you had a larger building that could accommodate a big boy bar. I’ve lived and traveled all over and one place that would be worth a visit for you is Savoy in West Hartford, CT. They nail the business model of artisan pizzeria and cocktail bar. Either way, decent attempt at an operation and happy to have you in EA.”

“Charlie's has THE BEST Fish Fry , not only in East Aurora, but in the whole area. It's crunchy on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside. Comes with the usual sides plus choice of potato. It's enough for 2 meals and at the lowest price around. Delicious.”

“I purchased the works breakfast sandwich and an iced chai latte. The sandwich was amazing. They put it on homemade English muffin and tasted so fresh. The iced chai latte was amazing as well. I would highly recommend.”

“Dining at 189 Burger was an absolute joy from start to finish! As soon as we walked in, the lovely hostess Mikayla greeted us with a warm smile and seated us right away. Almost instantly, we had refreshing glasses of water in front of us, followed closely by expertly crafted cocktails that set the mood just right. Our server, Maddie, was a true gem—always attentive and cheerful. She took our food orders the moment we felt ready, making the whole experience feel seamless and enjoyable. The food was delicious, my husband ordered the pot roast dip while I ordered the bourbon onion burger. It's safe to say we left with smiles on our faces!”

When they have their appointments, we make it a treat to stop in at BEB every time. my girls LOVE picking out 2 Macarons each and eating them asap. Staff is always friendly and the facility always clean. We look forward to these visits and will continue to stop in for a special treat. Oh, and they love the little kitchen play area.”

“We love Rosie’s! The Bada Bing Bada Bourbon in the homemade waffle cone is easily one of the best ice cream cones I’ve had. Their seasonal Razzle Dazzle is a close second. They’re dog friendly and offer pup cups which is always a plus for us. Friendly staff, great price and very generous portions. Love to see their new creations each time. We’d love for them to start offering flights!”

“The waitress were attentive. We waited long time for the food, about 35 minutes. I ordered the Chilean sea bass. The macadamia nut was a little burned. The portion was small. The vegetables came with it consisted of inexpensive ingredients: squash and carrots. I didn't like the mashed potato. I only took one bite.”

“Nestled in a small corner of a plaza in East Aurora New York is Touka Sushi. As you walk in you're greeted by the cheery sight of their aquarium which hosts several happy, curious and vibrant fish.
I order the Beginner's Combo and have had it with the salad and at other times, the onion soup. To me the onion soup is my favourite choice. It's flavourful and simple tasting in the best way. It's lovely and oniony but also has a light mushroom flavour as well.
Everything is freshly made to order and is of such great quality. The rich is never cold and is always very tasty and tender.
The fish is so fresh. I am so glad that I know about this place and always look forward to having their sushi.”

She was very patient with us. we love coming to this little town everyone is so friendly. we will definitely be back. oh, and we came to see the grinch sleigh behind vidlers. It was the original one from the movie. We ended up going to the Aurora theater to see the new Willy wonka movie. Which, by the way, was really good. And that theater is awesome. The drinks are made so well, service is great, and food is always tasty, filling, and big enough portions to bring home leftovers.”

“When I am near Buffalo with my family we make a point to stop at Mighty Taco and get many meatless mighty tacos. I hardly ever go in, just do drive through, but this time I did and found this delightful framed choking poster next to all the more serious historical photos and the little placard that said circa 2008 made me guffaw out loud.
