“First time at Coney Shack and I’m already hooked. This spot is such a cool blend of Vietnamese flavors with street food vibes, and everything we tried hit the mark.

We started with the crispy fish tacos—super light, crunchy, and packed with flavor. The lemongrass chicken banh mi tacos were my personal favorite: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and with just enough heat to keep things interesting. You can tell they’re not afraid to play around with flavor while still keeping the balance right.

The vibe inside is casual and fun—bright, energetic, and perfect for grabbing food with friends. Staff was super friendly and patient while we figured out what to order (so many good options!).

“We first heard about Tony’s on Jon Barr’s YouTube channel (prepping for our first NYC visit). Can only say that this is the perfect spot to get food, and then go eat it in Central Park.

Both times we visited the food was great, staff was very friendly & we received our orders within a couple of minutes.

The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The go-to sauces here are the red sauce and white sauce. The halal momo are complimented with a thicker, chewier dough than other momos - it takes me three bites to finish each one. Amdo Momo is a favorite for those looking for an authentic taste of Tibetan cuisine. Don't forget to ask for the side of radish!“
