“Ordered takeout from here and it was completely delicious! The presentation was great, love the boxes. Super generous with their portions- a bunch of ginger on the side which I love!! Their crispy rice was amazing and tuna avocado roll was so fresh. The edamame was also particularly good. I’ll definitely be ordering again.“

“I've never been to a pizza place with so many unique options and combinations. This was such a lovely experience I will absolutely be coming back. Naomi and Arturo made sure me and my friends were taken care of. Naomi had such great energy and she was patient and helped me out even though I'm very indecisive. “Marley Spoon has been our favorite of the meal boxes, and we've tried several. Ingredients are fresh and recipes are delicious. They were having production/delivery issues during the holidays, but that seems to have been resolved at this point. The only criticism I would have is that, with recipes that include sauces, either ready-made or consumer made, there generally isn't enough sauce, especially when there's rice or some other ingredient that would benefit. More sauce please! Other than that, we've been pleased.“

“Ambrosia Meals is a godsend. I primarily utilize the service by ordering prepared meat and fish for the week. Then, I cook my own veggies and sides. Sometimes, I order their prepared veggies, which are also delicious. This system makes my busy city life easier to manage and lets me enjoy tasty, nutritious meals. I also appreciate how responsive Ambrosia is when I have a question or rare problem with an order. They provide me with excellent customer service. The one thing I really wish they would change is their plastic packaging.“

“I've been going to dave's meal prep for a month now (4 weeks - 14 meal delivery) - they have very solid macros and more importantly, the food actually tastes good. It is better than factor75/cook unity/whatever you can think of not only on the macro side but on the taste factor as well. The owner actively reaches out to make sure everything is going well, and follows up for any subsequent delivery. As an experienced lifter who's currently focused on losing 10 lbs of weight within 3 months, I can confidently say that there is no better place to go to for meal prep/macro/dieting (or even bulking healthy) than dave's meal prep. The only exception is it's probably better to cook & prep it yourself but if you don't have the time, capacity, or tools to do so, then definitely look no further.“

I heard going things about the General Tso's too, which is my normal go-to dish at Chinese restaurants, so now I am going to order and try that as well. “The Vera Cruz Panini is absolute 🔥! Perfectly toasted bread with that golden crunch, gooey melted cheese, and fresh ingredients bursting with flavor in every bite. The seasoning is spot-on, and the balance of textures is just perfect. If you’re only going to try one thing here, make it the Vera Cruz — it’s the kind of sandwich you think about long after you’ve finished it.“

“I absolutely love this program! Meals are easy to cook, and the portion sizes are perfect.

However, as good as it all is, the potatoes have been almost rotten when I received them.

“I love Popchew. It has become my favorite spot for burgers. In a neighborhood with so many smashburger options, Popchew is the best. And their fries... awesome. The new orange cream slushy is pretty good too. Try them out - you're gonna love it.“

“Been eating here for years. Used to be a in a spot by Dry Harbor Road. Always had the best chinese around even by my family's standard and always delivered freshness compared tobthe competition. They have excellent customer service on the phone and in person. Even when they get slammed, they manage to get food to me in good condition.There are some hard working people here and it shows in the food and service. They got hit with a fire in their original spot a while back but came back and I had to come back too. The other spots around just werent up to par while they were gone. Jade Bamboo is underrated in my opinion and deserve recognition.“

PLUS: reasonable prices overall, clean & spacious, well-stocked groceries, wide selection of cooked food buffet-style, competent staff, free parking MINUS: more affordable prices elsewhere, not accessible by subway, not enough space for dining in--Street level outdoor area gets crowded at lunch time. Second level is reserved for employees. We all have our own preferences. It's worth a visit.“

I couldn’t be happier to have given them the chance and order from them for pick up! The meals are delicious, filling, healthy and you can’t beat the price! wow! In New York we have tons of black Caribbean food spots but it’s very rare you find a black American , southern food spot like this one . And this is it !! Everytime I call them they accommodate me , they even put extra food items that differ from my order sometimes. “My cousin was visiting from Cleveland. Her son recently moved here. My husband and I were looking for a place for this group. We had been at Krupa's last Sat night with our son and enjoyed it very much. Also, parking is easy to find. Food is very good and fairly priced. Love the toast appetizers. The only small negative is that the menu is limited and didn't change at all from the other time we went. I had the bluefish the first time there which was delicious and something you don't see often on a menu. The tomato burata salad was very good. Ambiance is very nice. Garden is cute but both nights were too hot to eat outside. Staff is lovely and knowledgeable. We want to go back in a couple months when the menu changes.“

“We spent 5 days in the neighborhood with family and this ended up as our go-to spot for breakfast on our morning treks into NYC. It was close by our rental home and right off the bus line which we took into the city. The view is amazing and the food was superb. The staff was amazing every morning of our visit considering we were a group of 7 trying to eat and get on our way for our daily adventures. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I would totally recommend a visit.“

“I recently ordered Kacchi Biryani and Hazi Biryani from Sagar at Home, and I must say both were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The meat was tender, aromatic, and cooked to perfection.
What impressed me the most was the freshness of the food—even after traveling for 3 days, the biryani tasted fresh and well-preserved, with no compromise on quality or taste. That speaks volumes about their preparation, packaging, and care.
