“This deli is a gem of the East Meadow neighborhood and surrounding towns. Not only have they kept prices ridiculously low in times where they are surely facing increasing operating costs , but the quality of the freshly cooked food far exceeds the respective price tags. In comparison to the norm on Long Island which is pay extra for lesser quality , the deli operates more like those found in the 5 boroughs (where the prices are lower and food is significantly better)“

“I've been coming from Orange County every week for the last 2 years to watch my grandsons a few days each week. We make it part of our day to take a walk and always stop in for a snack or a sandwhich. Sam and his wife are lovely, friendly people and always make a fuss over the babies. The store is immaculate and the Korean food is not to be missed. The Bulgogi hero is my favorite go to sandwhich....Highly recommend !“

“Came to New York from Florida and was on the hunt for an authentic deli for the famous BECSPK and came across brothers deli.
Upon walking in, the young man at the register was dealing with a customer fighting over 5 cents trying to scam the store. I watched it all unfold. The worker kept his cool, stayed firm on his response and professional.
Even after the customer left he didn’t complain about the interaction! I like that!
We joked and talked about visiting home ( NY) after being away for many years and the nostalgic candies we saw waiting.
Needless to say, we came back almost daily for their breakfast. Absolutely perfect, they accommodated our allergy request and was greeted with a smile and nice conversation each time. There is something special about knowing your value in a store and they definitely made us feel welcome, for a little corner deli, They are making a nice footprint in the community!
We would love to comeback and say hi during our next visit!

“Places like this are why I say Long Island NY has the best food in the world. The staff looks and acts like they're focused on quality food and service. The deli itself is clean and organized. Get one of their sandwiches (I recommend corned beef) and for about 12 bucks you have a fine lunch or dinner.“

They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

“I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

My only complaint is that I had Haitian Chicken over Rice, but the rice tasted unwashed ruining the dish (the chicken was still good). Other than that, I loved every other option. “Tried Mike's for the first time after passing it by a million times. I was very delighted to say the least. I ordered the chicken cutlet club sandwich, and I was told it would be a few minutes because they make the cutlets fresh. Something you don't see often. And tge woman at the counter, Amia i believe, was warm and friendly. I will be back here often!“

And there it is on the right hand side nice parking lot I go in. I tell the story and everything and ask for my sausage, egg and cheese with potatoes. They’re very friendly in there. I share the story about Perplexity. The place is a beautiful deli. It looks like they’re really set up to to make a lot of food for the food rushes around here. The sandwich comes to a little over eight dollars with a coffee. How do you beat that and it’s fantastic. Even better they have their coffee absolutely dialed in. I would come here just for a cup of coffee fantastic place.“

“The hot food here (Latin Food) is made fresh daily and it's pretty. You get a decent portion for 1 for $5. Breakfast sandwiches starting at $3 so you can't go wrong and the cold cut hero's are enormous to some really good brewed coffee. Not much on the negative to say except that it would be nice if they carried a larger variety of drink but from canned goods to cleaning supplies to house hold items and an ATM this deli has a lot to offer at good prices.“

“Fresh meats. Special considerations with cold cuts. Especially cheese and thinly sliced meats. When buying cold cuts, there’s nothing worst then having a clump of meat to peel apart. It does take a few minutes to assure the meats are separated and using additional sheets of paper, but this is the difference in keeping or losing a customer. A true Italian Salumeria understands this and takes the pride in what and how their foods are delivered. Thank you.“

Lady working suggested chicken cutlets since they just came out and they were crispy and delicious.
