We've (Wantagh Senior Center) been fortunate enough to find this gem of a deli.We order egg sandwiches for our brunches. It's not easy to please 25-30 seniors at one time with an order. But, they've managed to do it. They all arrive hot and delicious. We've also ordered complete turkey dinners for about 25 of our seniors. They were spectacular! I work in the area, so have tried a fair few Delis nearby. My stores preferred Deli started to shift during covid and fell out of favor, and so me and my co-workers began the arduous quest for a good sandwich. At this juncture, we've got to J&G probably about 4 times. I've personally had the Italian (What I consider the universal point-of-reference for a Deli) and their Italian Mozz (Cutlet, fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers) and both were great. Ughhhhhhh GOSH I love this place so much it makes me mad I can’t eat here more frequently. We order from this place for lunch at my job whenever we’re craving deli/sandwiches. My coworkers have all agreed that this is now the go-to deli in the area for us.Their Long Islander sandwich is TOO GOOD!!!!!
