On our way home from a day out, we decided to stop in for a few sandwiches. We call it a hidden gem. Quaint Kosher Deli, maybe 10 tables to sit for a quick bite or take out. I believe we were greeted by the owner - so nice and very welcoming. We sat at a table with menus, and he took our drink order, returning with drinks, a bowl of Cole slaw and a bowl of pickles. Had a hot pastrami on the, matzah ball soup and a Brooklyn egg cream.First thing you notice is the display of vintage seltzer bottles. While the bottles at the table are for decoration, the egg cream is made with seltzer from this vintage bottle. The owner graciously made the egg cream in front of me, and it was amazing!The pastrami is juicy and flavorful, and the matzah ball soup is very hearty, comforting and warming.

My husband went in to take an order home to Pa. The food was very well wrapped to make the 300 mile trip. They gave my husband reheating instructions, which worked perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious. the only problem is that we live too far away to dine.
