“One of the best bars in Nassau. Great friendly staff, they make you feel like one of the crew quickly. Great drinks with a wide selection of Beam. As far as the food goes, there is not better place to get wings in the county. Wide range of heat and flavors, always made to perfection. Then of course there is the pizza that will beat most pizzerias round. They almost have a restaurant menu in a bar. There is not better place to watch any sports from horse racing to football and everything in between. The place has a lot of modern TVs so getting the game you want is pretty easy (just ask). Yes they do have WiFi as well. Highly recommend this bar.“

The only problem is occasionally a very drunk, very loud, very short, very smelly stuttering patron comes in and ruins it for everyone.

He keeps telling everyone he is a celebrity 30 years ago, and is like 60, but hits on 20-somethings non-stop, brags about doing coke in the bathroom, etc. He ruins it. If you go in and you see this guy, leave.“

The owner, Shawn, is friendly, respectful, and knows his stuff. When he took over The Irish Pub, he made it a point to get involved as an active part of the community and create an inclusive atmosphere. This bar and its patrons, especially on karaoke nights (every other Friday) with NV Entertainment, are a lively bunch so you'll be sure to have a good time. It does get crowded at times, especially during karaoke, but that's how you know it's a great place to be!

They have a new menu and I hadn't tried the burgers yet, so I figured I'd give the Bruin Burger a shot. I was having so much fun that I had to save the burger and fries for the next day, so it was wrapped up to go. Even next day, it DID NOT disappoint! Pop it in the air fryer and you're golden. No excuse not to get a good meal from here, even if you don't drink.

Last but not least, Big Los behind the bar is always helpful. Seeing I ordered a few drinks (and I have small hands), he picked them up with ease and brought them all to the table for me. I notice things like that because how many times have you been to a busy bar and the bartender just pours your drinks, takes your money, and you have to figure out how to get them over to your table without spilling? Los took the guesswork out of it. Thank you, Los!

The place was kind of empty but we were pleasantly greeted by Chris who gave us great service and was quite funny. A great bartender for sure, I would come back here just for him. The waitress assigned to our table took a long time to bring us a dessert menu, and after we asked another server, he told us they only had one option for dessert - couldn't our waitress have told us that, instead of telling us that she would get a dessert menu - that didn't even exist!? Then there was an even longer span of time getting our check to us. Perhaps these servers are tasked with more than they can handle, but when people dine out, there is an expectation of good, courteous, prompt service. I do not blame the wait staff, as they are just young people trying to earn some extra cash. The fault is with leadership being short sighted with the insufficient staff numbers, especially on a busy night. Come out - talk to the patrons, explain the wait, offer a discount if needed... Anything to prevent a negative review! Food was great - no issues there, but the taste did not erase the feeling about the poor service. I would come back, but please do better.“

“Nice atmosphere. All the games are on. Food is VERY good and safety precautions are taken. Plastic partitions between every bar stool and the tables are spaced far apart. Been there several times now and always felt safe and went home having enjoyed myself and my meal.“

“This is a long overdue review of a holiday party held at The Clubhouse. Brian was extremely responsive and flexible in working out open bar options and a menu of appetizers and for us. We were a group of around 30 women, so we did not have the place to ourselves completely, but Brain let us have the majority of the room, keeping a few tables closest to the door open for other patrons. It was a Sunday evening, after the brunch crowd, so it was fairly quiet aside from our group. We were able to decorate the tables a bit, but the restaurant was also nicely decorated for the holidays. Brian gave us a very reasonable price and the food was excellent! The bartenders were friendly and kind, and overall, it was a wonderful night. This is the second year in a row we have held our event at The Clubhouse. I highly recommend The Clubhouse if you are looking for a fun, casual gathering spot for a group.“

“First time here and I can't wait to go back. We sat outdoors and admired the picturesque surroundings. It was pretty busy for lunchtime on a Thursday. My friend ordered the poke salad and I ordered the tuna tacos, which were very delicious and just the right amount. Service was quick and friendly. I was able to get a parking spot in the small lot and my friend parked in the small lot across the street -- someone sitting outside the lot tells you where to park. All in all, I am very impressed with this restaurant. The prices might be on the high side, but you can order the reasonably priced dishes like we did and be extremely satisfied.
