“A towny bar that I've gone too for some time(on and off) It's a nice hole in the wall with pleasent people inside. A little slow @ times. Got a pool table and outdoor smokers area. Staff was super friendly. Hasn't changed in a long time. I had only small issues with the tap. The beer tasted flowery... Which was off putting and I couldn't finish it. Idk if the lines are dirty, or the glass had cleaner on it still. Prices were lower than other places and would go again, but might stick with the bottled beer“
“We tried here again after about a year. Well not any better. We asked for well done brugers, we got very Red. The big pretzel was hard and came in two pieces. We will Never eat again. Maybe they care if you dine in, but for sure they could care less if you get it delivered!!! The food is not good!!“
“I ordered superbowl catered food from Riley Fibbers in East Islip. The whole process was seamless. I placed my order earlier in the week, paid, and was asked what time I'd like to pick my order up. When I arrived to pick up my order they had a server in charge of all the to go orders and everything was ready and waiting. All trays, and containers were clearly labeled. The portions were great and all the food was delicious. I frequent this location often knowing the large range of drinks and beer on tap, the owners and employees are great and pleasant, and all their food including their specials are always delicious! Go check them out, there are 2 locations in East Islip and Selden.“
“I went here with some friends and it was a cozy, welcoming vibe. Fine beer selection. I went for the cubano sandwich and it hit the my palate full scale. Excellent blend of flavors, the shoe string fries were a cute touch. My friend ordered the Pierogi’s and it’s a classic choice. I recommend going here for the friendly staff and lovely food.“
“We moved to Northport 3 years ago and Main Street Cafe quickly became our favorite restaurant, not just because the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly, but the customers are delightful! Everyone is in a great mood. The prices are reasonable. Trivia contest on Tuesday nights are a lot of fun.“
“Excellent experience all around! The food was cooked perfectly, the drinks are great too! Right now during the Christmas season, they are decorated with wreaths and right outside is Wall Street (the closed off road with the large decorated tree, Christmas music, Santa)What we ate:Guinness Pot Roast(Outstanding comfort dish, so tender, flavorful)Finnegan Burger(Juicy, thick, cooked perfectly)Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich(Crispy, seasoned nicely, chicken cooked just right)This is a small Irish pub, there's tables(small and large), and a bar to sit at as well. They have a large assortment of beers (we had Stella and Corona), and cocktails(I had the Hot Chocolate Martini, tasted like an adult Yoohoo).Service was excellent as well, everyone is super friendly, everything came out quickly, and was cooked perfectly (even with a full house).“
“From the first time i came here I could feel this was more than just a bar. No matter who is tending the bar the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Along side there great selection of beer and liquor they offer delicious food as well. If you are looking for what ill call the "CHEERS" experience this is the place.“
“I was on a business trip to Islip, up from Florida. I usually look for a sports bar when I travel and this was close to the holiday inn where I was staying. Great atmosphere, girls behind the bar were very efficient and helpful. I ordered the "Irish Nachos" after reading it had a shepherds pie topping. I'm originally from England and so this caught my attention. The food was amazing, plenty of it, delicious and well priced. I swilled it down with a great pint of Guinness. Plenty of TVs to watch sport and comedies and music videos. Highly recommend it.“
“Foods good. I got the Texas toast burger... Which was good, the Texas toast part wasn't that great... Ususally I associate Texas toast with garlic butter on it.. This one was little stale no butter... Wish I got a regular bun... But the rest of it was very good. The ladies bartending was nice but they did talk amongst them self a good bit with alot of vugar and loud talk ? I think we caught them on a bad day... The bar was a fairly empty when we got there for lunch.“
“I went on 3/17 for St Patrick’s Day. I got the corned beef and cabbage. The corned beef was cut more on the thin side which I like. It was slightly fattier than I prefer but not terrible. The flavor was good, you could taste that it had been brined for some time. The cabbage was cooked well. The potatoes were red potatoes which was a nice touch and they were soft but still a little firm like I like. Everything was good except they put a sweet sauce that I couldn’t really identify on top of everything. I really didn’t like that but it was so minimal I could ignore it. They gave a piece of irish soda bread which I appreciated. Also the dish was 21 which was fairly priced and I feel like you got a good amount of meat which is really the costly part of the dish. Overall a good experience.“
“Came here with a few friends on a Friday night as I heard it has a new owner. It’s a smaller place but is welcoming and nicely decorated. There were a bunch of other people there but the vibe was drinks with friends rather than loud/rowdy as some sports bars can get.Drinks and service were great! They have an impressive beer selection. We had the BBQ wings, red flatbread (which is actually a circular pizza and not a small rectangle as I’ve seen at other places), steak Gorgonzola Mac and chicken tenders. Everything was cooked really well and delicious! Gorgonzola and steak was a nice combo with the Mac and cheese. Chicken tenders were crunchy and very tender, clearly not something that was bought premade and frozen. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items and look forward to using their patio area in the warmer weather!Parking: They have a lot alongside the building, and plenty of street parking“
