“The food here is fine. No culinary adventure, but respectable. The people here however are wonderful. Friendly, pleasant, and really make you feel welcome. Great place to get your grub on, and before your leave, get the best carrot cake you've ever tasted.“

“This place is awesome. What a good vibe. German beers on tap and plenty of bottled beer.Service is always on point by Steve and the backyard is small and sweet.Always has a stellar lineup of music. You can't beat this joint that has been a staple establishment in Patchogue for over 40 years. No food,But lots of music and fun stuff!!Parking: You may have to walk a little bit when it's a busy night of music. But well worth it and probably better that way“

“Reeses for lunch...11/28/23Had the burger, with blue cheese, medium rare, cooked to how I like it..very juicy...Crispy fries were great, just way I like emIt's a very good burger..It's in MY top 10-15, no higher...I know people rate this as one of the best around, which it is, but my thinking is there are better burgers out there..I would never diminish, or talk negative about it, it's very good.I would definitely order it againBartender was great...Old school...My favorite kind“

My Place Tavern Bar • $

“This was the best first visit at any local bar I have ever had. We were skeptical as this was a small discreet location. The staff and clientele were absolutely wonderful. It was almost comical that they have a sign on the outside about coming there as strangers and leaving as friends but that is exactly the way we felt. Not only did everyone in there seem like they knew each other they quickly scooped us up and included us in everything that was going on. They don't have food but a very nice arrangement with the local businesses so you can have anything you want quickly delivered. They even have private menus just for their establishment. We will 100% be back.“

“Just left and had a great meal. Sat at the bar and had wonderful service from the barmaid Justine. I had the boneless wings with oldbay which were awesome and for dinner I had the Cajun Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was great, bunch of chicken and great Caesar dressing which I'm guessing is homemade. I've had a few meals here and this is by far the best item on the menu!“

“From Christmas week, 12/26.I'm a bit behind with Burger reviewsThis burger was awesome.I have been here before, last September, but did not post a review here about itI ordered it my usual medium rare, and they cooked it exactly the way I liked it.The meat blend they used is spectacular....It really hit my tastebuds the right way.The bun was fresh, a bit soft, but held up well against the juicy burger..The price was right , $14.50 WITH bacon and cheese. The fries were crispy as I like them.My dining partner had the French Onion Soup, as it was one of the Specials. She said it was up there with one of the best she's had in a while. The service was great!!! Our waitress was quick, professional, upbeat, and funnyIt was busy, as they have a few popular specials on Tuesdays, one being a $22 porterhouse.. The table next to us both ordered it, and they said they loved it.Thanks MerissaThey have their own parking lot, but it fills up quick..There is also street parking. I've never had a problem thereThis burger is in my Top Tier , Top 5 territory..Which is getting very crowded.I'm going to have to budge my stubbornness thinking I can decide the 5 best, when there are truly numerous "TopTier" burgers on Long Island, and on my Radar Screen; which is all of Suffolk County, and an occasional foray into the 516 territory.Cavanaughs, Blue Point“

“So— this place has me perplexed. I feel like John Taffer needs to come here and haul this place and make it what it’s worth. The first thing I asked for when I sat at the bar was a drink menu. The bartender did a ??‍♀️??‍♀️we don’t have one? Idk I’d think a bar on one of the most famous Long Island lakes would be a little more high end. The landscaping and overall care of the building is lacking. Rocks everywhere / Old chairs and cushions kinda thrown in the corner and dirty. Despite many signs asking smokers (and I’m a smoker) to use receptacles. There were cigarette butts lodged in between the deck boards outside. This place has SO MUCH potential. The beach view is beautiful and the set up for the band outside looked really nice m- but we were leaving then. The bathrooms were also filthy. The bartender made me a nice drink, good amount of alcohol and around 10 bucks. But come ON guys. You have so much potential for that place.Overall I would return because of the view and the staff were nice.“

“Used to go here for metal shows when it was Finns. Glad to see the local scence is still alive and well here. Love their stage room. The black lights and the black light recsssive images along with the color changing lights pointed at the pictures make an awesome effect. The sound quality is very good. The art everywhere is great. The bartender was also kind and made good drinks. The bathrooms were clean and upkept well.“
