I was a chef in fine dining for 15 years, 12 with Wolfgang Puck in L.A. and this is the furthest thing from fine dining I have ever tried to eat. zero flavor noodles were so over cooked they were a pile of mush absolutely disgusting. I will never go again and never recommend it.“

“After posting. about an unpleasant experience I had at the restaurant, the owner, Mike, responded very quickly and asked me to contact him. I spoke with him and discussed what happened. Mike invited me and my family back to the restaurant. Mike went above and beyond to show us how wonderful his restaurant is. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the music from "open mike night". I recommend visiting the Pine Grove to e joy the food. atmosphere and friendly staff. We are looking forward to returning, especially on the warm weather so we can sit outside on the patio.“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “We have been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now. Oftentimes we order for delivery and the food comes to us in a timely fashion. They keep the busy small eat in order area and kitchen clean. They have many choices, so our mixed diets of regular and vegan have delicious items to choose from their menu.

“I want to start by saying the buffalo chicken egg rolls are the best and I mean THE BEST Buffalo chicken egg rolls I have ever had. I got garlic parm wings as my main and they were also delicious. Came on a weekend and it was very busy with live music so make reservations!“

“I have loved everything I have eaten here. The only thing I am not a fan of is the pizza. Staff makes you feel like family. The dinning room is small yet spacious. Every time we eat there we end up talking to other tables. I drive quite a distance to eat here. If you go you have to try the baked clams. They only serve cherry stone clams. So so good.

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“My mom and I hosted a baby shower here, just this past weekend, and we feel we need to scream from the rooftops just how amazing it was! The staff was phenomenal, anything we needed they were right there to help! The food was stellar and all of our guests were talking about how they wish they could load up to go containers from the buffet! If you ever have to throw an event, do yourself the favor and check them out! The owner is the nicest guy and really just went above and beyond to help make the shower perfect! If I could give more than 5 stars I would !!“

“Dinner was excellent! Extensive menu. Ordered from the pasta section of the menu gnocchi a la vodka with melted mozzarella on top. It was delicious. There was an unprinted kids menu that included good items like spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, chicken fingers with fries, pizza, etc on the night we went. Chose the spaghetti and meatballs and it came with a large bowl of spaghetti and two giant meatballs. My portion was huge too. They were all about service. Very friendly and attentive team members. The restaurant was very busy, but the food came out relatively quickly and very hot.

The only reason I gave the atmosphere four rather than five star rating is because the front door area was so crowded and congested when we arrived that we couldn't get through the dense and unorganized crowd to figure out where the hosts and hostesses were to request a table. We had never been there before so we had no idea if that was a line for a table or takeout. Appears the front door has a take out order counter or area there. There was a back side door that we ended up using and found some hosts in the middle of the restaurant to ask for a table. To our pleasant surprise there was table readily available for us on the patio!“

“My favorite local pizza place! Pizza is always cooked perfectly and never had an issue here. Their sauce is delicious and it goes great with a calzone or garlic knot. The staff treats you like family and cares about the quality of their food. Will be coming back for years!“

I lived in Manhattan for 20 years and never experienced such authenticity as Red Tiger Their crabmeat and pork soup dumplings are the best thing on the menu. “We, thankfully, had a reservation on a Saturday night. We had a spacious table for 4. Brittany was our waitress. She was wonderful. She introduced herself, took our drink orders, gave us time to look over the menu, told us about the specials, was attentive to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The appetizers she suggested were delicious. The courses were nicely spaced apart. Each course was cleared from the table before the next course was served. We never felt rushed. The food was excellent. Atmosphere was quiet to enjoy a conversation. We will certainly be returning.

“My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“
