“My husband had been here years ago and remembered it being really good, so we went there tonight for a fish fry. Boy, was it good!! So many different kinds of fish fries to choose from- as well as sides. The Cole slaw was made with pineapple, like my mom used to make it, and was so yummy! Everything was great- from the meal and brewed, not instant, iced tea; to the homemade caramel apple pie. We ended up bringing our dessert and half of my meal home with us- there was so much food! Prices were fair. Even the price of the pie, which at first shocked me @$5/ slice, wasn't bad after all as it was a HUGE slice of delicious, homemade caramel apple pie ever! Service was great, servers friendly and knowledgeable and the owner came out to check on us more than once!! We tend to like diners vs chain restaurants and I'm sure glad I asked about going to Chaps this time!”

“I have a long drive ahead of me from Buffalo to Philadelphia in a tanker truck. I just kind of wanted pizza. It didn’t have to be the best, any pizza would’ve been fine. The closest place was in a town called Alba. The first question I asked when I called was about whether or not they had good pizza. They practically laughed at me. I ordered a large thin crust pizza with light cheese, tomato, bacon, mushrooms, and pineapple. Yeah, pineapple. They didn’t judge me about it. Extra-crispy. Order it extra-crispy. They told me they had a white sauce so I doubled up the order. That’s what you do. They even cut it into squares for me. I think that’s always the move. Square-cut. I don’t know how to say this, I’ve never had a thin crust like this before. I should’ve known it was going to be special when I saw their flour-grinding machine behind the counter. The thing was ancient and they had just used it. There was flour all around it. I’ve had Pizza from all over the country. No one has a thin crust like this. It’s super crispy, airy, chewy, flaky and have a dense-but-light quality about it. I can’t describe it. I’m eating a piece right now. And I’ve got two of these monsters on my passenger seat. This is insane. I cannot get over this crust. I have no idea how they made this. Nobody has a crust like this. This place absolutely blows my mind. It’s one of the most gorgeous areas I’ve seen in the entire country. There’s a cute candy shop across the street, and this crust on this pizza, I don’t even know what to say. This crust! You have got to be kidding me. I mean, what can I do but drop a pin on this place and make sure every time I’m traveling along this route, which wont be nearly often enough, believe me, drop in and order a couple of these thin crust pizzas. Just like this. I was not expecting this from a random Pizza stop in the middle of West New York. Chicago has nothing like this, by the way. I’ve had all the best Pizza in Chicago. There are some mighty fine pizza restaurants in Chicago, no doubt. But I swear, nobody has a crush like this. I think I’m gonna stop eating pizza. I’m willing to only eat pizza from Andy’s. If I have pizza for anywhere else, especially a thin crust pizza, I’m just going to be thinking about that one time I stopped in the middle of Western New York and found the best thin crust anywhere in America. Maybe some other country has a crust like this, but I doubt it. This is crazy. What a find. I’m blown away. This crust! Damn. Absolutely sublime.”

“Arrived at 7:55 unaware that this establishment closes @8 pm. I asked what time they close and the owner said 8 pm. I went to leave and he said wait where are going. We close at 8 but as long as you sit before you have time. Waitress was friendly and wasn't acting as we bothered her. Even the other waitresses were talking to us and joking around! phenomenal service Definitely do not find this hospitality or customer service now days! Sport of Kings you are top notch in our book. We appreciate and thank you so much!”

This place is the closest pub we have found to actually being in Ireland. We had no idea this gem is in our backyard, just 10 minutes from home. The traditional meals are out of this world and the staff is absolutely fantastic. Stepping in the door, literally took my wife and I back to Ireland for the time we were having dinner together. The decor, the ambiance is quite authentic. Great beer selection 👌🏻 and food is fantastic!

“Traveling through and my wife picked this place to eat based on everyone's different preference. This place has a wide variety to please even the pickiest of eaters. Large portions and food was delicious. Service was okay, this is a busy place and kinda expected it. Finished my meal before the waitress came back around and checked on us to see how it was and if I wanted anything else. I did want another beer but usually not after my meal so I declined. We paid and waited for a to go container that my wife actually asked for 3 times. Food was great, it's a busy place so expect that you may not get attentive service, but they are friendly and get you taken care of most of the time.”

“I had a truly delicious breakfast at Settler’s Family restaurant in Batavia, NY.
It's wonderful to see a family-run businesses that has endured the tests of time, operating for over 40 years.
I also appreciated the fact that this fine establishment honours our 2nd amendment rights for responsible CCW holders to carry their firearms as posted on the door.
My great experience was from beginning to end as I was welcomed by very jovious fellow diners who graciously held the door open for me, then I was seated by the friendly and welcoming Hostess named Brandy.
My server Ashley did a great job of taking my special order, and the food was a delicious homemade breakfast with flavourfully spiced home fries, my omelette was also quite tasty.
I saw a wide variety of desserts that also featured classic Greek options. The ice cream and Turtle cheesecake looked exceptionally tempting, and had I not been satisfied from my substantial breakfast, I would have indulged.
I recommend and will definitely return!”

“You step into a cozy cafe, that surprisingly has more seating than what seems from the outside. They have a variety of syrups, but also a dedicated special drink menu. The breakfast sandwiches came out HOT, which you do not find often at coffee shops. Went on a Saturday, so it was a 5-10 minute wait on drinks. Highly recommend”
