Edna’s is very nice. Unfortunately like most restaurants in Ellicottville they have become very pricey. I’m hearing many people complaining about high prices here in Ellicottville.I’m afraid with not much snow for another winter, guest may start picking another destination for their ski trip.
The food was actually really good, but the service, it NEEDS to be addressed. We waited 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged, we were told it would take 15-20 minutes for a table, it took 45. It took about half an hour for our waitress to come over just to order pop and water, then she ran away when we were ready to order our food. She disappeared! I'm not joking. It seems like a new place top to bottom. It went from feeling like a chain restaurant in the 90's to a more era appropriate open and modern space/menu with the same cheerful staff. Hard to beat having a good roast chicken, a glass of merlot and being able to watch skiers at the same time. All it needs is more snow to fall outside!
