After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“Great place to watch football. Nfl sunday ticket for anyone trying to watch out of network games. The guy we asked to change the channel for a packer game was very nice and overall service was great. Drinks are good and cheap as well. Only complaint were the food portions were way too small. We ordered the tater tots for $7 and it came out with exactly 7 tater tots. That seems a bit ridiculous to me. Would still come back, just dont come on an empty stomach.“

“On a beautiful Tuesday night, I was looking for something to do in the city that never sleeps. After visiting 2 other bars that had rude or tired employees, we happened to find Jake's dilema. Immediately, we felt at ease, and Wade welcomed us and treated us like the happy celebratory humans we were. This was a beautiful way to discover a new place to hang out while in the city. I am hoping we can start an open mic night or something, so I will be coming back to speak to Wade and the manager about that. My only complaint is having to go down a flight of steps to get to the restroom. It's not fun when you're tipsy to have to go up two steps, down about 12 steps, and then down 2 more steps. Yes, I counted it was actually a running joke all night with us (though my count may be off, I was really tipsy at this point.) Overall, I really enjoyed this place, and it's all because of the bartender and how amazing he is. Thank you, Wade!!!“

“I was having an event, at a location that was across the street from Goldie’s. Due to a communication error, we needed to change venues- literally 30 minutes before the start time. In stepped Goldie’s. The staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating, or more helpful.

What could have been a disaster was a wonderful evening. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the celebratory lemon drops were much appreciated.

“My boyfriend and I, buffalo wings fans, decided to do what we call “THE NY WINGS ROUTE” to find, according to our taste, the best wings in the city. Meller’s Sports was our first stop. The place is a very well decorated sports bar. Has happy hour for food and drinks MON-FRI 12 -7. We were served by a very friendly waitress. The small portion of wings comes with 8 pieces of correct size. The buffalo sauce is very successful style (or is) Franks Red Hot wings. They were juicy. Our rating is: 7/10. “I am Happy to say I was introduced to The Woodlot thanks to a Yelp event. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service, I declared that I would definitely return.

A couple months later a fav and I decided to stop in after an event. Upon walking in Amanda (co-owner/partner) greeted me by name. What? How in the world did she remember me by name? That’s wild and the look on my face expressed my utter surprise. We all burst out in laughter.

Just like the first time we grabbed a seat @ the bar. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and feel of the space. It gives spacious elevated comfort, if that's even an interior design thing.

Amanda was just as sweet and attentive as before as she managed to take care of everyone solo. I told her I returned like I said I would to try their wings and another cocktail off the menu.

My fav and I both opted for a couple of the FOCO U Martinis. For wings I went with the Honey Garlic and my fav went with the Classic Buffalo. The wings were fresh and hot, I can’t say for sure if they are the “Best Wings in Queens” just yet. They were good however, I need to try them a couple more times before I can decide.

Amanda thank you for your amazing service and impressionable personality. I think I found a go-to spot in Woodside.

They do not offer ranch with the wings, only blue cheese (yuck). TBH its not needed the wings can stand on their own.“

“Love this place! Amalio is so welcoming and prepares the best drinks, always happy to experiment with off-menu drinks too. Music and vibes are great, and prices are completely reasonable ($15-20 per drink, $10 happy hour). Will be coming back soon for more great memories!
