“Best dive bar in Fair Haven. Fantastic chicken wings. Boat in & dock your boat out back. Live music. Epic sunsets. Everyone is friendly & lively. Darts & jukebox. Not a craft beer destination, no IPAs. Makes me miss Mary.Parking: Overflow parking available nearby.”
“We had kind of a large party show up for lunch. The staff were very helpful and genuinely cared about your order and how it was to be prepared. The menu could use a few more details to include things like mentioning that they would be using garlic aioli on a club sandwich. Sandwich was delicious but the garlic aioli wad unexpected and overwhelmed the entire taste of the sandwich including the bacon. I enjoy garlic aioli on some food items but it should have been mentioned on the menu... my grandchild was not a fan of garlic aioli but loves plain mayonnaise on her sandwich. We had to reorder the sandwich after everyone else was served and watch my 3-year-old wait while everyone else was eating. This could have been a non-issue had they only taken time to mention this small detail on the menu.Kid-friendliness: As I mentioned in my review we had to have a 3-year-old waitand have her food remade because of the ingredients. The staff bent over backwards to help keep her entertained during the wait for her meal. Made the whole ordeal not nearly as bad as it could have been. Any of us that have 3-year-old children or grandchildren know they are not the most patient people on the planet.”
“We stopped at Big Bo's for a ice cream cone after spending a nice day at the beach at Fairhaven State Park. Big Bos features Perry Ice cream. A small cone came with two large scoops. I highly reccomed the choclate mint. Creamy and delicious. Big Bo's offers picnic tables with shaded trees for your pleasure. Service was fast and friendly plenty of parking”
“...just wanted to say how amazing the pies you made for Hannibal school are...they looked fabulous & tasted delicious...you definitely know how to bake...I'll definitely be a repeat customer ???”
“We are new to Central New York, and The Cottage Inn is one of the very few "local" places with great selections, great food & the best service. Make sure you make reservations or you may have a wait, this is the local hot spot and is packed full on Friday & Saturday nights. We have tried many of the specials, and the seafood platter & prime rib are our favorites. There's also a great selection of adult beverages with a great "pub-like" atmosphere at the bar, and more than enough selections of dessert for that after dinner treat. You won't go wrong choosing The Cottage Inn for your next quiet dinner for two, or fill a table for 12, this place can accommodate all size groups. But call ahead, or you may wait for an open table... we recommend waiting if needed, you won't be disappointed.”
“A total gem of local charm and fantastic home cooking. If you're near Sodus, Fair Haven or Wolcott and you don't stop by for breakfast or lunch, you are really missing out. Run by great friendly people. Totally love it.”

You could tell the pizza was made with love ❤️ we will for sure be ordering again you have a new long time customer thank youFor the amazing pizza ?”
“Private club not for profit keeps the costs down. You must be with a member and sign the book as a guest. Pool table, darts, Nascar, and touchtunes available. A nice woodstove for winter and daily lunch specials are all part of what makes it appealing to local members. I like the super bloody Marys on Sundays.”
“I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, the menu options are vast and all the breakfast items we ate were awesome! The in-house made corned beef hash was delicious!”

“Very nice place to hang out and enjoy some craft beer or cocktails. I really like the layout with mixed seating. I didn't have any of the sharables, but they looked good. The bartender was very friendly. A great first impression.”
“So this is the first time I have ever visited this bar. I went for a cornhole torney tonight and the set up they have is amazing. The bartenders were great. Overall it was a great first experience. If anyone feels like playing a great torney on Thursday evenings you should absolutely go. Love this place..”
“Great place! We decided to stop in last minute. The owners are wonderful. Gave us a tour of his operation. We enjoyed all the ciders and his crabapple wine. We also tried a Hot Johnny. Highly recommended!”
“Bright and clean gas station/convenience store. I stop here often on road trips as it's a great place to get gas, use the bathroom, and get whatever drinks or snacks I need for the rest of the trip. Hot food is available (the cheese pizza is surprisingly good), as well as every cold drink you can think of. Grab and go foods like egg salad and deli meat sandwiches. There is a large hot drink station with coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and tons of creamers and ways to flavor your drink. On Fridays in October, they are offering one free coffee per customer. Yay!”
“Nice local restaurant with large varied menu. Friendly staff and decent prices. My husband and I ate lunch there and both loved our meals. Delicious soup! Nothing fancy but nice place!!”
“Seen the place has been packed lately. Decided to order some take out. Steak and REAL potatoes was very delicious! All the food we ordered was good. All the workers I encountered down there were friendly.”
“This place is a hidden gem!!! Food is great, service is great and the owners are awesome! You MUST order the broaster chicken wings, or any food including the broaster chicken!!! It is 10x better than KFC. It is a very clean place!!! More people need to know about this! They should advertise!!”
“Excellent food and very nice outside dining. Great service. Try the 1/2 pound "Cowboy Burger" bacon, burger, cheese, peppers, and onion rings. W tator tots. $13.00 very good.Plenty of free parking. Straight walk to the deck from the parking lot for wheelchair use.”
“Beautiful place!! Gorgeous chandeliers, clean ladies bathroom, nice water view. First time visiting Colloca for the New Years celebration. It was well organized, well decorated, the food and appetizers were delicious. The package also included the coffee bar and a glass of champagne at midnight. The music during dinner was pleasant and DJ for dancing was fun. All the guests were respectful and everyone had a great time. The price package was reasonable for New Years; however, there was a cash bar, which I thought the drinks were a bit high priced. The staff were attentive. It is located closer to Oswego, which it was a better option to us, instead going to Syracuse. I definitely recommend Colloca for New Years event if they are promoting again in 2024-2025. I'm looking forward to visit this place on the summer months. Thanks Colloca team for a fun New Years party!”
“The chicken and mushrooms with lo mein is kickin. We recently ordered Chinese when we were in the city and it really made us appreciate how great our local Chinese place is. Food is awesome. Especially the lo mein and mei fun.Update:Today, we ordered the fried scallops and they were great.House special soup was jam packed with meat and veggies and delicious. The shrimp with Chinese vegetables have a TON of huge shrimp and is delicious.I'm always so happy with the food.”
“My grandsons and I had lunch, pizza slices and chicken fingers with Bar-B-Q sauce, we enjoyed it all. Best $20 ever.Kid-friendliness: Has booster seats and high chair if needed.”
“We got really great service and had supper and dessert for a great price. We have recently been in two other McD's and Wolcott is better in all areas mentioned above. They have greatly improved and work hard in all of these areas. We enjoy eating there.”
“My wife and I came in from Syracuse on our way out to the lake and decided to try something new for breakfast and are EXTREMELY happy we did. The food was incredible. I got the Crosset house special of sausage gravy over home fries with over easy eggs, raisin toast and sausage patties. My wife got the Cricket #1 house special which is meat and cheese stuffed french toast and we ordered an additional half-order of corned beef hash. Everything about the food was fantastic. The home fries were savory and clearly cooked in the right amount of fat. Sausage gravy was homemade and perfect. Eggs cooked perfectly, bacon in the french toast was crispy and delicious. Even the coffee was perfect. The staff were all extremely nice and attentive and the owner stopped over to ask how everything was. We will absolutely be back. 10/10 on every aspect of our breakfast.”
