“No matter where you live on Long Island, Siam Emerald is worth the trip !! This restaurant is beautifully decorated- from the greenery on the ceilings to the gorgeous bathrooms. Siam Emerald definitely knows the importance of great service : The wait staff was amazingly attentive! The cuisine was truly outstanding. Every appetizer, entree and dessert that we ordered didn't disappoint. Absolutely everything we tried was sooo delicious AAND...we were wowed with the unique and creative presentation of every dish. “Slightly hard to write this review as I arrived a bit late to the meal. I went here months upon months ago. Not knowing that this was part of Dun Huang, I thought I went to the wrong restaurant but it turned out it was one and the same which was surprising. I was here with a group of nine others. As I arrived a bit late, the soup dumplings had already been there a while but they were still of very good quality. My favorite of the night was the Salted Egg Yolk & Shrimp Stir-Fried Rice Cakes. The texture of the rice cakes were perfect and the egg yolk complimented it well. I also liked the Dry Fried Shredded Eel & Chives. I also would have preferred them less shredded as I couldn't taste much of the eel texture but the sauce was nice and the blend with the chives added some good depth. The Fried Dough Twist Spicy Chicken or Laziji with Mahua was also surprisingly spicy for a restaurant which is primarily Shanghainese now so I guess they still have some influence from the old Dun Huang. I've had it before with these dough twists from the excellent Peppercorn Station and these rivaled that place even though the chicken there was a bit pricier but then again there was larger pieces of chicken in the latter. The Fish Fillets in Sour Cabbage Soup was also pretty solid as well as the Grilled Lamb Kebabs. You can essentially see Andie's review for the rest of my thoughts as they essentially reiterate hers. Yes it was too hot inside and as I was rushing to get there, I got warmer than most but oh well. Would go back but maybe go during the fall or winter if the AC isn't fixed yet. Mid 4“

“Disregard the bad reviews! This place has amazing food, great people and fair pricing for the area that they are in with the amount of competition around them! I enjoy getting my bang bang shrimp bowl and my mango pineapple smoothies. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! it’s an experience you get in Manhattan but now in queens.“

“Wild feast was originally in LB and moved to RVC in 2019. I went there today with my husband for the first time in RVC and it was incredible!!! Everything was absolutely delicious. “I was craving an Italian sub so I decided to try this place. Instead I ordered their Devil sandwich. Close enough. It was delicious. I ordered the regular size thinking I can split it for lunch tomorrow. But nope I finished the whole thing 2 hours later. Will return to try other sandwiches.“

Food came out quickly. Service, during our most recent visit, is friendler than the last one. Meter parking in the area charges $0.25 for 1/2 hr.“

“I had the Duck Pad See Ew now these noodles remind me of drunken noodle so if you like that then you will love this dish! The duck was succulent and crispy on the outside cooked to perfection wow! The food was tasty but not salty and greasy like other Thai places I have tried recently. The chef is top notch and knows what she is doing for real just the right balance of flavor and taste in every single bite. Next up I had the appetizer the main event the "Zaab" Spicy Chicken Wings. I've never had chicken wings with this particular flavor or seasoning before so this was new territory for me. No need to worry though as you're in good hands like All State with this chef she is no joke and has clearly put in her 10,000 hours and then some respectfully. It was a dry rub fried chicken wing with spicy chili flakes or chili powder rubbed underneath and/or on top of the wing itself which was fried and coated to perfection I was impressed thoroughly to say the least. This was the sleeper and highlight our orders. We also ordered last but not least the chicken pad Thai which was flavorful and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place can't say it enough five stars is a minimum! By the way and oh yes please try the Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water for good measure to wash down your meal. Run don't walk to try out this new gem in the neighborhood and tell them Blanco sent you lol! Tell a friend to tell a friend it's them again yummy!“

The kale was not edible at all. It was too chewy. I got the vodka grandma's slice, and it was really good. My sister got the burrata slice, which had a slightly bitter taste to it so she only ate a couple bites - I ate the rest of her slice, and while I could taste the slight bitterness, it didn't bother me too much. My brother-in-law had two cheese slices which he enjoyed, too. But really, the nice guy behind the counter who gave me a free water really solidified the experience for me! “I've passed this restaurant several times and decided to try them out today. There is paid parking in the lot. The place is compact, they have old license plates from different states on the walls, it's a lil rustic. The menu has burgers and chicken named for all the states from Maine to California. The service was fast and they only accept CASH, no credit/debit cards. I will definitely return to try the different burgers.“

“This store is amazingly clean & well preserved. It looks like you walked into a deli from 1969. Its spotless. Its deli case is filled with all types of delicious food. I got a pastrami on rye w/ fries. Its pretty good pastrami. In my opinion its not made on site. Its a pastrami brisket ordered from a provisions company & maybe steamed in the back. It just does not have that fall apart real kosher deli pastrami texture. That being said its very flavorful sandwitch. I definetly enjoyed it. I give the pastrami a 7/10“

“Tucked away into the less crowded block next to 71st avenue is Pokeplus a seemingly long spacious poke place. Just ask for every topping you can get (as long as its free of course), and always go in person to order. It is just like chipotle, if you arent there to pressure them they will skimp you on the meat.“

I don’t know how to explain the taste of their pie/dough/crust, but when I take a bite my brain goes “THIS is what a pizza should taste like!” It’s just the perfect classic pizza taste. Cooked to perfection. I just reheated a slice in my toaster over (and I probably overcooked it a bit) but since it was cooked perfectly by them (not burnt like so many pies I’ve gotten from other places) it was still great - perfect crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside crust (instead of char and air).“

“The food is delicious and fresh. We also have food allergies and they call to double check, which is great. My only issue is the last two times I placed online orders they corrected the total and charged me extra for “add ons”. I had zero add ons both times. In fact the only thing I asked for was for them to NOT use sesame seeds or seaweed paper because of an allergy. So because they’re omitting something, instead of charging me the same or less, they charge more?? That doesn’t seem right.“

The sausage was perfect. As entrees we ordered the clam sauce and a lemon veal dish(Piccata?). My clam sauce was great, a little less salt would have made it perfect. My partner really enjoyed his veal. The doughnuts and gelato were excellent for dessert.“

“In the area, wanted a quick lunch take out of soup and sandwich. Looked to be a nice, family run walk in, walk out place with a good rep. Took out both creamy chicken and chicken barley (both very good) and chicken pesto wrap also good. Service quick and friendly. Would have liked more soup choices considering the name.
